Quaint 1. 5 verdiepingen duplex huis gebouwd in 1910 is gelegen nabij alle wenselijke voorzieningen en op loopafstand van drankjes, restaurants en ontbijtgelegenheden. Er is veel groen en trottoirs om te verkennen. De woonkamer heeft een paardensportthema met prachtig afgewerkte houten plankenvloeren met mooi dik tapijt en een charmante lederen zetel en stoel in nood. De keuken heeft ook houten plankenvloeren en een charmant ontbijthoekje. Het zoldergedeelte op de 2e verdieping, waar de slaapkamers zich bevinden, is rustiek met vloeren van multiplex polyurethaan en meubels met ouderwetse charme. Dit is een geweldige plek voor een groep van 4 of minder mensen om rond te hangen voor sportevenementen, paardenshows of race-locaties of gewoon een van de vele prachtige dingen die Lexington te bieden heeft te zien. Let op: de slaapkamer bevindt zich op de tweede verdieping en de woonkamer, keuken en badkamer bevinden zich op de begane grond. Clean, good off-street parking, quiet and safe location. But this is a one bedroom rental, not two as advertised. The single beds are located on the upstairs landing leading to the bedroom. Okay for a couple with two small children. Definitely not okay for two couples. Note that the bedroom is upstairs and the only bathroom is downstairs.

My husband and I plus our two dogs stayed here for 10 weeks. We were in between homes. This is a simple home. But it was clean and comfortable. It’s an older home. Some of the furniture is a little worn. Could use an overall redo. But all in all it was very welcoming and comfortable. The location of the house couldn’t be better. It was wonderful to get to know Lexington. Walking distance to at least a half a dozen restaurants. If you’re interested in visiting UK it’s just a stones throw away, I would definitely recommend this house if you’re interested in staying in downtown Lexington. It’s in an historical area surrounded by beautiful homes. Very walkable and safe. The stairs going upstairs are rather steep. So if you have mobility issues, this home may not be the best for you. It is a duplex. The other side is one story . Plenty of street parking plus you get a parking spot in the back of the house. We will miss this little house.

It was a bit tight for three adults. The bedroom is spacious. The two twin beds are right outside the bedroom door. Probably a better fit for a couple with kids. Super service and location.

This was perfect size for us— we felt very welcomed. It had everything we needed although we never found the dishwasher, although the instructions on how to use it in the thorough welcome book were clear. If you’ll have us back, we look forward to a return visit.

The house is adorable. The furnishings are super comfortable and very well kept, lovely art and decor. The little yard was a perfect spot for an afternoon read and relaxing. The neighborhood is also beautiful. Lovely big ol Kentucky homes along a tree lined street that felt very safe, at all hours. It was a wonderful stay and I recommend it to everyone.

We truly enjoyed our stay! It had all the amenities and then some! We loved the private back yard, the house was decorated beautifully and the owner had a basket of goodies for us and our dog! We could not say enough about this house!

Small and quaint location. AC upstairs was not enough for the summer KY heat. 2 Bedrooms more appropriate description is one bedroom and a loft. Stairs are pretty steep and wood, so it would be advisable to bring a crate or a way to keep dogs downstairs if your are traveling with them. Owner/property manager were very responsive to all inquiries.

Our two weeks staying at JW's Loft was made special the moment we arrived. Lights on, music playing on TV and treats in a bowl to snack on while we unpack made us feel at home as soon as we walked in. Everything was neat and tidy. Living room was so enjoyable to relax and watch TV in the evening. The bedroom was very cozy as well. We cooked all are meals at the house and enjoyed grilling several evening's. We look forward to coming back the next time we are here for a horse show. Thanks for sharing your special little house with us Tim and Diane
