Beautiful location, staff were extremely friendly! Made us feel really welcome and as if we were at home! Breakfast was delicious! Rooms were extremely clean. Overall a fantastic experience and would highly recommend to anyone.

Little gem of a B & B in Askrigg, perfect location for lovely walks. Breakfasts are delicious and all local produce. Welcoming hosts, Barry & Ann, so helpful and informative. Super clean, comfy & cosy rooms.

Perfect, really can't fault this b&b, the whole house was clean the bedroom immaculate, first class wouldn't hesitate in staying here again next time we're in the area.

A really beautiful little BnB run by a friendly couple. The room was gorgeous and an excellent size, the location is fab for walks and visiting other areas and the breakfast was tasty!

Another excellent stay at this great B and B. Lovely hosts - very welcoming and very informative about the local area. Very clean and comfortable property which we would highly recommend and look forward to returning .

Barry and Ann were very welcoming and helpful. Very good choice of plentiful breakfast, their b&b is in a very quiet pretty village on the edge of the moors. Nothing was too much trouble, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return if in this area

Third stay so must be good!!
A perfect, small and friendly B & B - this was our third stay! Super clean and felt very safe with all covid guidelines followed. Barry has a wealth of knowledge about the area and can advise on walking routes etc.

Great B & B . Very warm welcome from Barry and Ann. Our room was lovely - spotlessly clean with everything we needed . Breakfast was delicious with a good choice on the menu. We would highly recommend this B & B and will definitely return if in the area again. All necessary practices have been put in place for covid which made us feel very safe .

Perfect stay for our Silver Wedding Anniversary
Fabulous stay at Thornsgill House, Ann and Barry were perfect hosts, so friendly and welcoming. The house is beautifully traditional and cosy, Ann’s breakfasts were delicious and set us up nicely for our walks. Askrigg itself is lovely with 3 pubs within walking distance so there’s no need to drive anywhere for an evening meal. We would very much recommend staying here

An enjoyable stay in Askrigg
Excellent B and B. Very welcoming and room comfortable and clean. Breakfast really good - great to choose each day. Owners are very helpful with local knowledge too. Location is ideal - walks available from the front door. Local pubs had good food and plentiful ales. Would recommend and certainly stay again.

An excellent choice for our all too brief stay. Hosts were welcoming and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Excellent veggie breakfast. I just wish we could have stayed longer.

We loved everything about Thornsgill House. It is in a perfect location being just off the main street of the village but only minutes from the pubs and village store by foot. The room and bed were comfortable, well furnished and spotless. The breakfast was one of the nicest we have ever had. Ann and Barry were perfect hosts, being welcoming but not intrusive. Highly recommended.

Great place, lovely room.
Barry & Ann were very helpful & gave a warm welcome on my arrival. The room was well presented & very clean with a nice bathroom & shower, the breakfast was excellent. There is a choice of places to eat within a minute or two walk in the village.I would certainly recommend the b&b to anyone visiting the Dales.
