'This was everything we wanted our vacation to be. The cabin was amazing and literally in the middle of the forrest. We were close to both Narrowsburg and Callicoon, so shopping and eating out were options, but it was nice to just stay at the cabin and use the kitchen, grill, and fire pit. We especially enjoyed booking our devices up to the Bluetooth speakers and listening to music while we relaxed in nature. Chris was always a message away if we had any questions about the cabin. 'The house was cute with all the decorations pertaining to Woodstock and the 60’s. Very well maintained home. It was extremely convenient to Bethel Woods for a visit to the museum and to the concert we were attending.'

'We wanted a place on a lake in the early fall and this did not disappoint. We kayaked (nice newer kayaks), built fires, napped and read; very isolated. The house was clean and had good kitchen supply including wine opener, knives and extras like dw detergent, paper towels, salt and pepper etc. I recommend for an easy drivable getaway from multiple east coast cities. Warning: the house next door shares the lakefront. Luckily no one was renting while we were there but you should be aware.'

'My group of friends and I have been planning weekend long get togethers at random vrbos and other rentals for a couple of years now and this one was a fantastic stay! The space was incredible and we had plenty of room to eat, sleep, and play. The hot tub was also incredible! The weather didn't give us a lot of options in terms of excursions but we took an hour long drive to Walden to check out the Angry Orchard cidery and it was well worth the drive. 'The house wraps you in the warmth of beautiful wood. The kitchen is set for a chef. The living space is inviting for conversation and relaxation. The bedrooms and the beds are sumptuous and elegant. Friends gathered for my Birthday and it was Happy.'

'We had a great getaway at casa Minnewaska. The house is very well taken care of. You know the owners care for their house and it shows in all the little touches you’ll find during your stay, ie well appointed kitchen, comfy beds, rocking chairs on the front porch, enough towels for everyone, etc. it’s a great layout and secluded enough to feel like you are away from it all, but close enough to town and fine restaurants to be engaged when you want to be. Overall highly recommend!'

'We had a wonderful stay at Joel's place. Joel is great with communication and quickly responded to any questions. The home is very clean, beds are comfortable, great water pressure in the shower, kitchen is well equipped. We enjoyed barbecuing on the deck. Didn't get to use the fire pit as it was a bit too chilly to sit out at night. Hopefully can do that next time. We would love to come back again!'

'We stayed here for President’s weekend Feb 2024. We just wanted a quiet getaway in the mountains for a few days and that’s exactly what we got. The host was easy to communicate with, made it very easy to check in & out, and checked in via text to make sure we were doing ok. Highly recommend staying here. Great time all around.'
