'Not a far drive from the Raystown Resort which offers a beautiful lake to walk around at, fish to feed and a very fun water park. It’s a little on the small side but fun! Also several things to do on the lake and a pizza place that is delicious. Some convenience stores not to far from the cabin. Beautiful area with lots of wildlife!'

'Our stay in the Cedar Hill Cottage was certainly represented well by the website photos and was in a very pleasant location in the rural outskirts of Chambersburg. The wonderfully stocked kitchen and bathrooms certainly made our stay easy in terms of fulfilling all our needs, and the cleanliness of the house overall was evident upon first entering the front door. We really liked the deck and view; cool in the shade and pleased by the woodsy surroundings! You can even see the distant Blue Ridge...

'We stayed 2 nights here and loved every minute, wish we had stayed longer! The cabin was quiet, peaceful and secluded so it made for a romantic getaway. The hot tub was on a screened in deck overlooking the woods so we could enjoy the nature without the bugs. The kitchen was fully stocked with just about anything you could need. Plenty of games and books, a DVD player and 2 TVs. The bed was very soft and all the linens and towels smelled and felt fresh and clean. We would love to stay again...

'What a great property and home. We saw all kinds of wildlife there. The home has a lot of information of what to do around the Bedford area. Clean and comfortable place to stay. Just remember to bring bug spray, the area all around has a lot of mosquitoes even in Bedford. '

'Well built, clean, and quiet setting in the woods. We enjoyed the look and feel of this property, with it's natural wood construction and newer amenities. It also had a large fire pit outside with benches. We would definitely stay here again! Close proximity to Saxton.'

'This cabin was perfect for our Fourth of July weekend. There’s a big pool, horseback riding, a big pond and creek for fishing and the cabin comes with a fire pit and grill. We brought our dog and cooked over the fire every night. The cabins and grounds are very clean and well kept. I would highly recommend this place!'

'The cabin is beautiful. The owners really did a nice job on the decor, we certainly felt at home. They also gave so many extra amenities that modt places dont offer. Also working with Carolynne so easy, she always responded promptly to my emails. '

'We had a wonderful stay in Big Cove Tannery! The accommodation's were exceptional. Everything we needed was there. We loved the creek, the fire pit, playing cornhole, hot tub, and more. We kayaked, rode bikes, and went to wineries on the days the heatwave hit. We loved it here and hope to return. '

'Beautiful property. Ony challenges were that the address was not provided in the check in email so had to reach out for that. And the listing indicated it had a pull-out bed which we needed for the second guest and the bed is not functional, so the second person had to sleep on the couch which was not great. But otherwise, a fine experience'

'We are a group of classmates that get together once a year. The group loved this cabin! It is clean, well maintained, with all the amenities. We stayed at the cabin instead of goig out, for most of our three days here because we just loved the location and the peace and quiet. The hot tub was heaven! A suggestion for our host: please add the following:wine glasses, steak knives, give the current knives a sharpening, and a refill of the salt & pepper.Otherwise, our stay was perfect! Thank you!'
