'We stayed at Beechmont in July with 13 people total. We have family which traveled from the Isle of Lewis, Family from the Midlands and we flew over from the USA. Lois is a fabulous host, accommodating, informative and very responsive. The property is well equipped for our large family and had plenty of space and rooms for everyone. It had games, fresh linens and the charm of the sheep and cows across the road “speaking” to us each morning. It is close enough to be the villages but also away...

'Met 4 MTB mannen paar dagen geweest. Prima, zeer net en schoon huis. Alles is aanwezig voor een mooi verblijf n Windermere. 1 puntje van kritiek! De Auto kan je niet bij het huis kwijt, je moet zelf opzoek naar een parkeerplaats'

'Beautifully situated house in a beautiful area! Equipped with all conveniences. We were pleasantly surprised by the outdoor space/garden next to and behind the house.Highly recommended for a wonderful stay in Lake District.The partly unpaved road to the house is fabulous but bumpy. Despite doable, even with a lower car, so don't let that put you off!We loved our stay and are inspired by the nature in this beautiful area. Lots of walking paths It was more than worth the trip from the Netherlands.'
