'Everything was fantastic '

'The location is wonderul! Beautiful views, and very peaceful. If you don't have a car its a long walk up the hill from Windermere. I had everything I needed for a relaxied stay. Obviously this is a hostel so you can't account for other noisy guests, however there is a policy to meep the noise down between 11pm and 7am. Breakfast looked good although I brought my own. The guest kitchen is quite small but is well equipped. Evening meals looked nice, but again I'd brought my own. There are three...

'Basic room but we had a balcony overlooking the river. We had a private room with our own bathroom. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Can't beat the location for the price. '

'Ik heb een erg aangenaam verblijf van enkele dagen gehad in YHA Langdale. Vriendelijk personeel, goed uitgeruste keuken, twee prettige zitkamers, schone kamers en badkamers. Het enige mogelijke minpunt is de locatie: ontzettend mooi, maar enigszins afgelegen als je niet met de auto komt. Maar als je in goede conditie bent is alles lopend bereikbaar. '

'Iust such a perfect settling. Accommodation is very basic, but wow! Gorgeous setting, lovely staff, completely hassle free. I only initially booked for one night , finished up staying for 3, and will be back!'

'We enjoyed that we could use all facilities for free. The hostel is right at the centre of Kirkby Stephen. We popped in and out several times. The landlady very friendly, helped us find transport to our next destination. '
