Appartement volledig gerenoveerd in een 19e-eeuws gebouw, gelegen in het historische centrum van Pombalina, het historische centrum van Lissabon.
Het gebied wordt als rustig beschouwd en de locatie is uitstekend omdat het verschillende vervoersmiddelen op loopafstand heeft, zoals de metro, bussen, boot, tram, trein (verbinding met Sintra) en openbare parkeerplaatsen voor voertuigen.
Binnen een paar minuten lopen zijn er ook verschillende bezienswaardigheden, zoals de Elevador de Santa Justa, Praça do Comércio, Rossio Station, Chiado, Convento do Carmo, Nationaal Theater, Opera de São Carlos, verschillende musea, de Taag, Castelo de São Jorge ... In de omgeving zijn er ook verschillende winkels, restaurants, cafés en banken (geldautomaat).

The apartment was perfect for our group (2 couples). Very central, walking distance to transport, great restaurants and shopping. Apartment is on the 5th floor of the building with no elevator. This wasn’t a problem for us however it is something to consider. Frederico was a wonderful host. Very friendly and responsive. Highly recommend. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Location

Amazing location for seeing historic Lisbon and being part of the action! The hosts were very helpful, and the apartment had everything you need. It’s up five flights of stairs, which provided amazing views but some difficulties with bags. Overall, an amazing apartment.

Great location, lots of stairs!

Super cute property and excellent communication with our host (he coordinated a driver for us for a trip back to the airport). The building is older so no elevator and the stairs aren’t for the faint of heart. Tough to lug heavy suitcases up and down. Location was great, check in process smooth. Beds comfy and the a/c was a nice touch. Lovely views from all windows.

Beautiful, central rental

This is a beautiful, central property. We loved walking out the front door into the bustling energy of the downtown area. You have to work a bit to get up the 5 flights of stairs but the top floor means is quiet from the street noise, with great views off the 3 small balconies. Check in process was easy and flexible for our early flights and communication with the hosts was excellent. Joana helped us plan our days with great suggestions of areas to visit, how to get there and where to eat. We could not have been happier. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. 5 enthusiast stars!!

Kurzurlaub - Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt

Die Wohnung ist wie beschrieben und für einen kurzen Aufenthalt sehr gut. Die Treppe ist auf Dauer etwas beschwerlich, besonders wenn man Lissabon zu Fuß erkundet, aber machbar. Die Wohnung liegt super zentral, man ist gleich unten in der Fussgängerzone, es war und trotzdem nicht zu laut. Das einzige was uns etwas gestört hat, war der Geruch im Badezimmer. Aber das liegt etwas abseits, so dass man den Geruch in der restlichen Wohnung nicht wahrgenommen hat. Und zu guter Letzt, ein wunderbarer Gastgeber, sehr fürsorglich und behilflich. Wir hatten alles was wir brauchten und würden wieder kommen. Vielen Dank.

4 Days in Lisbon

The property offered by Frederico could not have been more perfect for my wife and I. As first time visitors to Portugal, staying in the tourist center of Lisbon made perfect sense, for our initial trip. The apartment is situated on a pedestrian only street in the very heart of the Baix-Chiado neighborhood and literally within blocks of everything you want or need. It is very comfortable, quiet and incredibly clean. Working with Frederico was a joy. He made everything very simple. I would never hesitate to return!

Perfect location with glorious views!

Centrally located in the Baixa with terrific views of the castle, the convent and activity on the cobblestone streets below (also a couple of cute cats on the balcony across). A couple of considerations: five flights up (worth it) and small bathroom (no big deal). We pulled our chairs onto the balconies, sipped some wine and soaked up the atmosphere each night. So great. Communication and check-in was easy. Would happily stay again!

The apartment had a great and central location, scenery was very beautiful.

Frederico took good care of us and he was available all the time. The residence had everything we need, a lot of space... only it was in 5th floor 😊 But from the front door got directly the restaurant. Big recommendation!

Beautiful home in a great location

My friend Allison and I loved our stay here! It was extremely clean and well kept and in the best location in Alfama. We were walking distance to pretty much everything we wanted to do and lots of great shopping and restaurants. I think the best part of all was the views though-you look out one side and can see River Tagus and look out the other side and have a view of São Jorge Castle. Additionally, Joanna and Frederico were so helpful and left us a wonderful little welcome gift. Joanna even helped lug our heavy suitcases up five flights of stairs :) That is the only thing I'd warn anyone about-there are five flights of stairs you have to climb to access the flat, but it would really only be an issue for someone with mobility issues. Our only struggle was with our bags because we over packed. We would stay here again in an instant and highly recommend to anyone going to visit Lisbon! Thank you Joanna and Frederico for a wonderful stay!

Sehr schöne Wohnung, mittendrin statt nur dabei

Wir waren als Familie mit 4 Personen in der wohnung und es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Nach einer sehr netten Einführung durch Joana und den ersten Tips für unseren Aufenthalt, haben wir die kurzen Wege sehr genossen. Die Wohnung hat zwei kleine Nachteile, das sehr kleine Bad und die 4 Stockwerke, da kann man die „Pastel de Nata“ gleich wieder abarbeiten.

Ideale Lage

Ein sehr schönes und sauberes Appartement. Allerdings im 5. Stock ohne Aufzug gelegen. Aber zum Glück muss man da ja nur einmal mit den Koffern hoch, wobei uns die sehr freundliche Concierge geholfen hat. Das Bad ist leider sehr klein. Es reichte uns, aber schon für große und umfangreichere Menschen könnte es unbequem werden. Gar nicht genug kann man die ideale Lage bewerten. Zentraler geht es nicht, wenn man Lissabons historische Stadtteile besichtigen möchte. Jederzeit wieder!

Great apartment in great location!

Owners were wonderful to work with. Apartment was lovely. Renters should be in good shape because there are many flights of stairs, but once at long last you get to the top, you are rewarded with a great spot to relax. There are some low ceilings, and the bathroom is tiny but even my tall husband had no problems and we would stay again happily. Thanks Frederico and Joana. Lisbon is a friendly and beautiful city!

Best Location in Lisbon

The beautiful apartment is in an unbeatable location - central to everything, close to the water, we walked everywhere! The apartment is spacious, cozy and comfortably sleeps 3 (2+1). Great kitchen, amazing views, strong wifi, lots of character. Frederico's wife met us to warmly welcome us and provide us with a sense of orientation. We didn't mind but the apartment is a five story walk up and the bathroom is tiny. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Da steckt viel Liebe in der Einrichtung der Wohnung, so dass man sich rundum wohlfühlt. Die Lage ist natürlich perfekt, selbst für einen kurzen Lissabon-Trip!

Nice apartment in superb location!

Stayed with my wife and 2yr old baby, Frederico provided a nice and very useful baby crib and a baby chair ! At first, the view of the door locks in the pictures got me thinking, why such locks? is it that unsafe? (I forgot to ask Frederico about the locks, but I guess being the apartment in the top, with no neighbors and no people passing up and down would explain them) but decided to give it a chance after doing some research, mostly looking of the best location to stay / safe area, given I had big bags, stroller and a baby . The apartment is very well equipped and clean; air conditioning and heating device. The location just cannot be beaten: nice balcony views, one block from subway, cafes and restaurants just outside, pair of blocks from food supplies, walking distance from all downtown attractions and centrally located from all other attractions in the city, quiet for a good sleep, safe for walking until late night, and so on... I just cannot describe in words how great the location is, you have to stay to understand, definitely will stay in the same place if I have the chance to visit Lisbon again. Provided transfer from airport trough Luis, great Lisbon guide (and honest! I forgot a little bag in his car with an iPad, 2 iPhones, 2 digital cameras and my passports; he quickly came back to return it without accepting tip for it). The first 3 levels are offices, so there are actually not much residents in the building (at least not by this entrance). Fifth floor may sound discouraging because of the stairs, but we stayed carrying the baby and the stroller up and down several times a day, so it is actually not that hard (unless you have a physical condition)...
