Enjoyed this boutique hotel. Staff friendly and helpful. Only 4 rooms on our floor - spacious/ comfortable with English language TV, comfy chairs, bench, bed. Bathroom was spacious with a walk-in shower (no bath tub) and choice of rain shower head or handheld shower head. Amenities we appreciated: bar fridge, Nespresso maker with complimentary coffee selection & daily breakfast buffet lobby level. Latter was 17 Euros pp/ ” day; was pricey but everything was fresh daily, including plain yoghurt, breads, pastries, fruit, sliced meats & cheese, orange juice. Eggs cooked to order. There are plenty of options close by for a lighter breakfast. The hotel is on a pedestrian walkway in a tourist area, close to the Restauradores subway stop; plenty of restaurants to choose from. Note: taxis/UBER can’t drop you to the hotel door; prepare to carry your luggage about a block; the street is rarely open to traffic. Our room was quieter than expected - down the road from a live theatre playing music during the day. Our 3rd floor room had a lovely balcony directly below the speakers for our hotel’s street level restaurant patio; luckily we didn’t mind the music selection. Check out private outdoor courtyard off the 2nd floor. It was open early January but bar service was closed. It would be a pleasant spot at end of day to enjoy a cocktail. Happily, Avenida Liberdade was close with several outdoor cafes where we could enjoy a beverage. We would not hesitate to recommend the Lisbon Wine Hotel.
