The car wasn't parked on site but finding a spot on the road was easy and walking up to the cottage was guided with directions very clearly explained with photos by the host. The owners were incredibly helpful, especially when we let them know we wouldn’t be arriving until midnight — they couldn’t have been more accommodating. 'Spent 4 nights in this lovely, comfortable and well equipped property. Great location with walks from the door and well placed to explore the Holme Valley, Yorkshire Sculpture Park, National Coal Mining Museum and for wandering off to the Peak District. Also convenient for Huddersfield. Quiet location minutes from Almondbury where there are shops, pubs cafe and also from Farnley Tyas and it’s pub. Lots of lovely extras to add to the welcome and it was very clean, well set out, parking provided for nearby. No garden (again, we knew this) but lovely views out of the windows and walks from doorstep instantly available. Lovely main fire (not really needed as it happens) and good shower.
