'Price was unbeatable, bed was comfy and clean, shower hot and clean. Yes, the place is under renovation and the breakfast lacking, but staff was kind and again, price was unbeatable. Basic accommodations, not swanky at all. If you are looking for a comfortable place to hang out and socialize, not the place I would choose. If you are needing a stay for the night, like I was, it does the trick.'

'Perfect clean room and bathroom. 4 pillows per bed, extra blanket. best shower pressure I have ever had in a motel!! So close to hospital and mall and Portland. Very well run a real diamond in the ruff!! Will also be our choice for this part of Maine.'

'I picked this place for location. Room was what I chose and expected. Clean room, pleasant staff, comfortable. Don't know how new or recently updated, but the place is current, trending. Some places just stay old. The only drawback was singular. The bed seemed to have a large well in the center. The kind where you roll into it. I doubt by design. Slept well, though. Would stay here again.'

'Great old world style property with good food. We have stayed there several times with very favorable results. The room however on this trip was too small to comfortably hold two adults. Very little room between the beds and the walls and not much room to get dressed or store luggage. Just make sure you request a larger room.'

'Brunswick Hotel captures the vibe of the city which is authentic, simple and pure ! Very walkable to near by restaurants in addition to rhe Noble café!'

'The staff was extremely helpful. We couldn’t figure out how to open the sofa bed. The front desk person tried; she got the manager; and then they called a woman who’s worked at the hotel the longest and she knew the trick to opening it. This was all at 10pm. The breakfast had the best home fries!'
