'Absolutely delightful hotel. Me and a friend booked a room each for the Hay Festival, and we couldn’t have been happier with our stay. The staff were wonderful; helpful, friendly, even showed us to our rooms. The location was great, not too far away but far enough that I’d was quiet and tranquil. The breakfast is well worth the money, as is the Old Barn pub across the road, where we ate that night. A fantastic stay, I can’t wait to return with my husband next time.'

'The property was easy to find with some decent parking. Once there I called the owner, Gaina and she provided the code for the key box. Once upstairs in the loft studio, I was amazed with the space and amenities on hand. On Gaina's advice, I went on an hour long walk near a local river and woodlands. There were plenty of dining options within a decent radius of distance. I had a great night's sleep and was welcomed with a fantastic variety for a continental breakfast to get the day started...

'We had a fantastic stay at the butchers arms. They were very friendly and helpful. We had a problem with another hotel and Andrew and his team couldn’t do enough for us. What a lovely place to stay. 'The best part was the breakfast, very good and very polite individual. The room was cold, no hot water to shower, no one around to solve the issue. All in house amenities not in use. No bar. No service, no contact. It's 2 miles from town, so taxi us essential. It's the sort of place that picture perfect... But you'll only go once. Sorry for the bad review, almost recovered by the polite service and lovely breakfast.'
