'The service was amazing, as was the amazing food and generous portions. The ambience was great too, including the music! The room was clean and cozy, and the velux windows were a lifesaver at night. Though the area can be a little noisy at night. Great location if you're planning to do the Four Waterfalls walk.'

'I was going to visit the Brecon Mountain Railway and I needed somewhere close by to stay for the night. Luckily, I chose the Butchers Arms. The room was lovely and clean and the bed very comfortable. The food was filling and tasty and I had breakfast looking across to the start of the Brecon Beacons. The beer was wonderful especially the Butty Bach (little friend in Welsh). '

'Had a lovely time staying here. Different from staying in a hotel. Hot drinks offered to us every time we came in. Beautiful big bedroom with a large bathroom with bath and separate shower. Clean, tidy, really comfortable bed. Had the best 2 nights sleep I’ve had for ages. The breakfast was cooked to perfection and the proprietors are lovely, warm, friendly people. Would definitely recommend and will definitely return next time we’re in the area. Thank you both x'

'The hosts were so kind and the bnb was gorgeous. Bed was very comfortable. The room and bathroom were spacious. They had a fan available which was needed for how hot it has been. Breakfast was delicious and more than generous portions with a variety of options. Walkable to bars, restaurants and shopping. Would definitely stay again. '

'Thank you for our lovely stay. We just came back from our 2nights stay and the place is absolutely stunning and would highly recommend. Rooms perfect with en suite and views when sat outside were amazing. Loved watching the red kites . Central to all walking spots and hosts were friendly and nothing wasnt too much trouble for them. '

'Fabulous stay at this gorgeous BnB with charming hosts. Loved the spacious ensuite room with soaking tub. Breakfast was perfect and the shared living space (with breathtaking Brecon Beacon views) was so comfortable that H enjoyed posting up there for work. Would love to return for a longer (than 2 night) visit and check out more of the hundreds of nearby hikes. '

'Breakfast had a wide choice of options. The bed was really comfortable and warm. Internet access was very good. The room had a good sized fridge in it which was a very good idea for keeping snacks fresh and milk fresh for tea. It was a very clean room The guesthouse is situated in the centre of the small town of Lampeter and is more reasonably priced than most establishments and they are nice people working there. '
