'On smaller loch ard, near Loch Lomond, this hotel is off the beaten path. It’s beautiful and peaceful with amazing views of the water from every window. The hosts are so welcoming and we wish we would have planned to stay longer. They also saved us a lot of driving time by letting is know of a road closure that wasn’t on google maps. The food was good also but I can’t say enough about the hospitality.'

The consequence of that middle of nowhere is that the wifi from the location (almost) never works, so does your own connection (depending of your provider).
Rooms are small, but okay. Sleeping rooms are nice heated, but if needed they provide additional bed sheets. The rest of the building is pretty cold so take a sweater.

'Frances is such a brilliant host. I arrived to tea and freshly baked scones and a lovely chat after my 3 hour drive from Loch Ness. The shared kitchen/lounge has plenty of room for guests and my room was large and spotlessly clean. I had the opportunity to chat to other guests and in the evening a short walk took me to the Village Green where the pipe band was playing.
