'The owner had first cut the grass, then made the beds. Gras everywhere. I cleaned the bedroom and kitchen) sitting area before use. It is a nice little man cave, unfit for people allergic to moist surroundings, dogs or tobacco smoke. Quirky us the word I guess. Host is nice.'

'Prachtige woning die je ook tijdens regenachtige dagen voldoende comfort en mooie uitzichten biedt. De woning is goed uitgerust, bedden zijn prima. Hoewel schoonmaak en onderhoud beter kan, vinden wij het zeker een aanrader.'

'They provide washer machine but not the dryer. One of the bathrooms is inside the queen bed room has very heavy smells. Needs to have more ventilation. '

'We loved our time in Portree! This house worked very well for 3 families (two sets of grandparents stayed in the room upstairs and parents and two teenagers in the rooms downstairs). We made good use of the kitchen, played many games at the table, and loved the view and location! The house is a very short walk from town. We had all the things we needed for a very comfortable stay, I would not hesitate to book here again! '

'Het huis is een perfecte uitvalsbasis om Ilse of Skye te verkennen. Op amper 25 minuten rijden van Kyle of Lochalsh waar je de brug naar Skye overrijdt. Het prachtige Eilean Donna kasteel ligt op 20 minuutjes rijden. Je kan ook mooie wandelingen in de buurt maken en inkopen doen kan bij de Spar op 20 minuten rijden of de co-op op 25 minuten rijden. Een lokale “kruidenier” vind je op wandelafstand evenals het heel aangename “ pitstop@kintail”. Het huis is heel goed uitgerust met 5 ruime...

'Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet, es hat an nichts gefehlt. Auch auf den Betten haben wir sehr gut geschlafen, es gab unterschiedliche Kopfkissen zur Auswahl. Der Holzfußboden knarrt leider ein wenig, dafür verbreitet er eine angenehme wohnliche Atmosphäre. Die Lage ist für einen aktiven Urlaub, auf dem man viel herumkommen möchte ideal. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, gute Restaurants sowie ein Fish and Chips sind zu Fuß in 5 bis max. 10 Minuten erreichbar. In einer anderen Rezension wurde der...

'Keuken, bedden en badkamers waren prima in orde voor een zeer comfortabel verblijf in een wat natte en koude week. Het uitzicht bleef boeien bij elk weertype. Een mogelijke aanbeveling voor komende bezoekers is om, vanwege de gladde vloer, antislip sokken of sloffen mee te nemen.'

"Dit hotel is te duur voor wat het biedt. Ons diner was zeer matig. Een heel klein stukje vlees en een berg aardappelpuree voor ca 30 euro vond ik erg tegenvallen. "

"The pod is very nice, clean and has a lovely view. Very near to Portree and all the restaurants, shops, etc. A perfect location to start exploring the island from. Breakfast is great (a cute tray with yoghurt, croissant, fruits for every table and on top of that you can order warm food from the menu) The people working there are very friendly. Unfortunately they are short of staff and you notice that. Breakfast takes a bit longer than usual, the restaurant was shut on one of the days we stayed there and the lounge/bar was closed during our stay. Luckily there is a pizza guy (Pizza in the Skye) just down the hill that makes terrific pizza’s to take and eat in the pod with some Netflix on or to sit out and watch the stars if the weather is good. Would recommend this stay for the location, view, cosiness, etc. but price is quite high. Though I must add prices are sky high on Skye everywhere.."
