'We had a very warm welcome from the friendly staff and were shown to the room which was clean and bright. 'This is a beautiful property . Very spacious rooms . Very comfortable beds quite clean . The mini bar had complementary drinks but didn't know it till the next evening when we asked as we dint want to be charged any extra . 'Breakfast was excellent, staff helpful and friendly. The superior double room was much nicer than the standard double and worth paying the small extra amount for. We had our 2 dogs and hotel is very dog friendly although the £25 per dog per night was a bit steep. Hotel is well located right in the middle of Penkridge, Saturday market is brilliant. We would return.'

'This is a charming country house and everyone was amazing. We enjoyed a walk around the property and the food was spot on. You can’t go wrong staying here if in the neighborhood. If you’re also familiar wrote ceramics, you’ll find several ships about 10-15 mins away that is a great place to browse and shop. '
