'We had a lovely short stay at The Feathers. The room was lovely, with an amazing bathtub and, best of all, AIR CONDITIONING, which we really appreciated as it was unusually hot during our visit.
The room was also very quiet at night - we heard hardly anything from the pub. I recommend the pub itself too, lovely decor and very friendly staff.
We would definitely stay there again, and absolutely recommend it to other travellers.

'Beautiful stay! Very comfy family room with a king bed and a single, fan provided as it was HOT! Very small bathroom but very clean with lots of towels. Gorgeous terrace for drinks and beautiful breakfast the next morning. The only suggestion would be the terrace is maybe reserved for residents as we wanted to go in for another drink and it was full which was a shame. But cant blame them, it was gorgeous there! Thank you for a lovely stay!'

'Warm welcome and beautiful room. Ate lunch in the Nelson bar on my own while waiting for partner to arrive and was made to feel comfortable and welcome. Same waiter on the evening - George. He was chatty funny and even sung for us - a fabulous member of staff. The room was beautiful and spa experience was fabulous. We especially enjoyed the live piano music on the evening with a cheeky cocktail or two! Will definitely stay again! '

Een leuk hotel om tijdens wandelvakantie te verblijven. Voor zaken iets minder geschikt door gebrek aan internet. Kamers schoon, echt Brits met een goed bed.

'Husband and I have just stayed here for a week with our big puppy and can honestly say the place is so beautiful, Jo and her husband have done a fantastic job with the pod and making it so homely inside. The pod had everything available from bed linen, towels, tea towels, cooking equipment, utensils, toaster, microwave , iron, ironing board, hair dryer, books, log burning fire and more.
Also for added security there is a fire blanket, fire extinguisher, first aid kit, smoke alarms and security...

We had a lovely welcome on arrival, and the room was clean and functional. Yes, it’s dated and parts are not ideal but the owner is obviously trying to improve as and when they can and responds to all feedback positively.
I think the descriptions of the rooms etc could do to be improved just for clarity, but it’s a minor issue.
I’ll definitely be back in the future. '
