Where do I begin? At check in, after a long day of travel, they have a waitress asking what you would like to drink. Beware, this is not a complimentary drink/beverage as you would expect. It is a charge. They will stop you as you exit the lobby towards your room. You have been informed!
We had a brick house apartment. The lock on the door was broken and did not close. We did not realize this until we came back later that night and pushed the door open. This is not safe and a complete breach of our safety and security. The apartment did not have any heat in the dead of winter (December). They had to send up maintenance to turn on the space heaters. The rooms and entire apartment needed cleaning. There were spider webs, and dirt/debris all over the filthy floors, kitchen, you name it, it felt dirty. The restrooms are so dated and small. The shampoo/conditioner/body wash is almost like water. Thankfully we brought our own toiletries, but if you want watered down toiletries, by all means.
The washing machine, was an added benefit, so we thought. Beware, there is no cold water. There is only HOT water. Your clothing may get ruined like ours. If you don't mind this, wash at your own discretion. The dryer does not dry. Hang dry using the racks provided.
The elevator...unbelievable. We got stuck in the elevator on the day of checkout. The front desk said, it does a reboot sometimes?!?! Service this already.
I don't know how this hotel is 5 stars. Highest 3 star at most.
