Don't be fooled this isn't 4 stars
5 star location - 5 star price point but in truth this is just a 2 star hotel. Noisy, bad quality, elevator had been broken for months not to start with the general state of the hotel. Really didn't like it! If you can find something else Do it.

Very disappointed!!! Booked a room for three people a month ago and there were not enough beds when arrived. The hotel staff said they would arrange an extra bed but there was no news until midnight. Also, there are not enough towels in the room, Have called the service desk and said they’ll bring it but they haven’t. This is not the service that a 4 star hotel should have.

When I visit London I always stay here. The location is perfect, the service is fine, the rooms are clean. So I would definitelly recommend for a city trip, but also a business trip!

Prima hotel, maar met wat afknappers
Een prima hotel met fijne kamers op een goede locatie in de City of London, maar wel met wat (grote) afknappers. Om met de ergste te beginnen: het continentale ontbijtbuffet dat wordt aangeboden (via Gaucho) was mikpunt van een fruitvliegjesplaag. Onacceptabel en buitengewoon ranzig—werd niet adequaat op gehandeld toen we de restaurantmedewerker hier op wezen. Daarnaast werden wij in eerste instantie in een kamer geplaatst waarin de ventilatieunits op het dak ontzettend veel herrie maakten. Hierop zijn we twee etages naar beneden verplaatst, alwaar we in alle rust en stilte konden slapen.

Staff is friendly, courteous and professional. Rooms are small but comfortable. My only beef is the bed was too close to the wall which made it challenging getting out of bed and the toilet seat wouldn't stay up. That's challenging for a guy. Complimentary coffee and cookies are good. Centrally located. There's a nice market across the street, Market St. Tube nearby, Tower Bridge, HMS Belfast, River Thames, monument dedicated to the fire of London in 1666, an incredible market right across the Tower Bridge and if you like Indian/Bangladesh food or into Jack the Ripper, the East End/Whitechapel is close. I would recommend staying here.

Great place to stay in London. Easy access to both the train station (Stansted Express), busses and Underground. It's in the Financial District so can be quite busy during the week but we found it very easy to get around and would stay here again.

Room was good, first one the heater wasn’t working properly but they switched us to another room where the heat was working perfectly. Very helpful staff and were able to call us a cab when needed

Great hotel, friendly staff. Brilliant location
The hotel was ideal for us, as we arrived to London at Liverpool Street Station. It’s a short walk to London Bridge. Overall the location was great for our needs. The area around the hotel is quiet on a night. We arrived early in the morning and made use of the luggage storage. When we arrived to check in, they had taken our cases to our room. Great service. All staff we encountered were very friendly

Like this hotel have stayed before very convenient the staff are always so lovely and obliging only criticism is the room was far to hot during night couldn’t put air con on as too noisy so quite uncomfortable sleeping

Only staff doing good is housekeeping
Clean tidy hotel on checking in staff helped to get key for room told where lifts were that was it,when I’ve checked in to other hotels I’ve been told where breakfast is served and where and what facility’s available,would have been nice,breakfast staff just as bad we arrived 1hour before breakfast finished staff member came over in yoga pants and trainers strange uniform to me but I guess I need to move with the times after asking our room number all she said was ok then walked of no instructions we were just left to figure out where to sit where to get the various different foods like fruit toast hot or cold and drinks not a problem as such but communication is helpful as I noticed half her time she was looking at her phone guest aren’t as important (when I worked as a waiter our phones had to be left in our lockers)the food was cold tomatoes came out just cut in half not baked or grilled guess they wanted the hot plates to do the cooking three of the items had run out on the hot side, and pastries were all gone but one and were told no more coming even thou one hour till end of breakfast

The hotel was well situated for our activities. It was well presented with large airy rooms. We were given an upgrade so had more space than we exoected. It would be nice to know yhat equipment is regularly checked as the hair dryer didn't work. Otherwise we were really pleased with our stay.
