Location is perfect, good neighbourhood with nice small places to eat and some good pubs. Very close to Barbican station where you can take the metro to anywhere in London. The staff is very friendly and is always ready to help you or answer your questions with a big smile. Rooms are very clean, just like on the pictures and in the description. The restaurant, Chez Mal, is a real must! Service is great and food is just heavenly. If you have doubts about booking a room here, don't I had an amazing time.

Mooi centraal gelegen hotel. Wij hebben een prettig verblijf gehad in dit rustig gelegen hotel. Verschillende bezienswaardigheden lopend kunnen bereiken vanaf hier.

The setting was excellent, well connected to the underground. The staff where excellent. The room and bathroon were spacious, the bed comfortable with crisp linen.

Excellent hotel for location, service and friendly
From check in to check out the service was excellent. The lady on reception was a little stressed as I think it had been a busy morning. We left our bags as we arrived early. We had booked for 2 nights but under separate bookings. On check in the lady was very helpful and for an additional £10 we were able to keep the same room for both nights. The room is one of the best we’ve stayed in at Malmaison as it was in a quiet area and we didn’t hear anything. Breakfast was lovely with a great choice. Look forward to visiting again

Great price, great location, great stay!
Victor was there to greet us, a pure joy! Friendly, professional and very quick checking us in. The standout for me in the room was the shower. AMAZING! I will be staying again even just for that. The bed was very comfortable and the room had all the amenities you’d want. It was also very quiet which was perfect! The breakfast was lovely. Great choice and thed breakfast was great too. Overall, great price, great location, great stay!

Good location near Farringdon station. Spacious rooms by London standards, and a reasonable value for an upscale hotel. Front desk staff seemed inattentive and disinterested but we didn’t require any help.

Nice hotel clean comfy & well designed! Adrienne was polite & professional only issue sloppy lazy welcome from lady at front desk! Hotel stay was fine but treated much better @ other hotels! Fix your front of desk staff!

Disappointed!
It was good but very disappointed that the hotel did not offer us a couple of free drinks after proposing to my girlfriend where other hotels would offer a couple of free glasses of champagne! Put me off going back!

We asked for a quieter room as when we stayed last time we was in a room in the front of the hotel and very noisy due to the bars down the road. Our room was actually at the front again and closer to the bars so again very noisy.
