This is a very good hotel. It is located in a very safe area and is very close to Victoria station (15 min walk). The hotel bed is very comfortable and hygiene and the room overall were very good. This hotel is very good especially given the relatively low price (in january). I really recommend this hotel!

In een rustige buurt gelegen kleinschalig maar voldoende uitgerust hotel. Personeel was zeer behulpzaam. Ontbijt uitgebreid genoeg. Gebruikte het hotel als uitvalsbasis om lopend alles te kunnen bereiken (eerste kerstdag is er namelijk geen openbaar vervoer in Londen). Zou ik zeker nogmaals bezoeken bij toekomstige reizen naar Londen.

Lief boutiquehotel met zeer aardig maar her en der onervaren personeel. Prima kamer alleen veel te warm. Zelfs met de ramen de hele nacht open bleef het 22 graden..maar ik zou er zeker terugkomen!

The hotel is perfectly located, but that is all. - The interieur is extremely outdated - Awful matrasses - No airconditioning - Bathroom hasn't been cleaned properly in a while. Tiles are on the verge of falling off. No airconditioning, and opening windows does not help at all. - Breakfast is way too expensive for the scanty offer. We are very disappointed that a 4-star hotel has so little to offer and will never return there again.

Vriendelijk personeel. Zorgzaam en attent. Alles wordt dagelijks keurig schoon gemaakt. Kleine kamer zonder airco. Kleine badkamer. Hang en sluitwerk van de ramen laat zeer te wensen over. Veel geluid overlast van de drukke weg aan de voorzijde. Geen gebruik gemaakt van het restaurant.

Mooi en luxe hotel dichtbij Victoria station
Voor onze 4 dagen Londen logeerden we in het Grange Rochester hotel en dat is ons erg goed bevallen. Bij aankomst werden onze koffers naar de kamer gebracht door iemand van het hotel. Op de kamer aangekomen bleken we een erg ruime kamer te hebben met zithoek en volop voorzieningen. We kwamen niets tekort en konden overal om vragen. Het enige puntje van verbetering zou de wifi zijn, die kon je kopen en was behoorlijk duur. Dit hebben wij dus niet gedaan. Maar verder is het een mooi en vriendelijk hotel, gelegen op een geweldige locatie.

If you need internet for work while at this hotel , forget about it. It is painfully slow. Google mail won’t open unless you refresh 5-10 times. Condition of the hotel - dated. Lots of marble, that probably was looking nice in the 70s. No A/C , so prepare to sleep with the windows open. If you do sleep with your windows open, the building near has big A/C units so you will hear that noise the entire night. Stains on the carpet, musty smell. I don’t know why this property is advertised as 4 stars. Should be 1 or 2.

Our booking was 2 rooms but at incheck the hotel just gave us 1 room. after showing the bookingpapers to the staff they wanted to give us the second room in the basement which was humid. No good start!

First time staying at this hotel, located in a quiet area of Westminster but plenty of shops/cafes around the area (although when we were staying a lot were closed), Big Ben, Westminster Abbey are a 10 minute walk away. The hotel itself is a bit old fashioned but very clean and has all the amenities you would want, a great base! Some work was going on during our stay so we were woken up to drilling noises some days and the water wasn’t working for half the day on one of the days either which wasn’t the most ideal. Our room had a lovely balcony which overlooked a football pitch which was nice to relax on after a long day! Will happily return here.

Impeccable service/high quality
Great stay. Surprise trip away for my girlfriend's 29th birthday. The hotel was great and organised a cake and fruit basket for us at an extra charge. Added the extra touch of balloons and a card (girlfriend said that was very sweet). Had an afternoon tea at The Wellington just around the corner, very nice!! The room was great size wise and even had our own little balcony. The bathroom has a bath/shower combo with great pressure and it was honestly nice to have a bath as we only have a shower at home. The food was of high quality and the staff on duty were always exceeding polite! Even provided us larger drinking glasses for water and an extension cable as there were limited plugs. They even provided complimentary little slippers which was a well appreciated touch! We opted not to have the room serviced as there wasn't really a need, you don’t replace towels/bed linen after every use at home so no need while away, easy to clean up after yourselves. Only downsides were not enough plugs, small teacups, no coat rack for outside jackets, lack of communication with The Wellington regarding having prepaid for afternoon tea and silverfish in the bathroom (reported to reception on departure - not before as it isn't necessarily preventable/their fault, only really reported so they knew and could take action if needed)

The building doesn't have air conditioning, there was loud construction going on, on the first floor during the day. They purposefully set off the fire alarm multiple times during the day. On our last day there one of the maid staff came into our room without knocking and quickly closed the door seeing we were in the room.

Comfortable but needs a revamp
This hotel felt dated and need of modernising. Seeing the wall paper peeling off the walls was slightly alarming at first but all the facilities worked well and it was very comfortable with attentive staff. This could be such a nice boutique hotel with a little investment. The coffee and tea wasn’t very nice, which was a shame even in a travel lodge you’d get Yorkshire Tea, so it was a shame as it could be so nice with a revamp and better tea.

The staff were very friendly, but when travelling solo I find it very disappointing when given a small pokey room with a bathroom in very poor condition. Shower was difficult to enter or exit, water tap on basin was very tight to use (expected it to break in the hand) edges of bathroom walls either look dirty or build up with age!! Breakfast was not worth the visit.

Can’t wait to stay again
The whole staff was absolutely amazing at both hotels. We didn’t get to stay at Rochester due to some maintenance issues, however they were very accommodating and moved us to the Wellington. Both facilities were clean and beautiful. The staff were top notch at both hotels.

Hotel was lovely and room had lots of nice touches. The staff were very helpful and attentive both in the evening bar and breakfast. There was a lovely male staff member at breakfast (Sian, we think/we were there on Saturday 11th November). The decor in the hallways was a little bit shabby with wallpaper having off and the check-in took 35 minutes with lots of quests waiting in a small hallway so very claustrophobic. Over all though, it was a lovely stay and we would stay again.
