My stay at the Royal Palace Hotel was nothing short of wonderful. Situated in a prime and unique location, the hotel boasts not only stunning views but also impeccable service that truly sets it apart. From the moment we arrived, the kindness of the staff and the level of service they provided were exceptional. Despite our flight arriving earlier, the reception staff graciously held our luggage while we ventured out to grab a bite to eat. Upon our return, although our room wasn't ready, they promptly upgraded us to a larger suite overlooking Hyde Park at no extra cost. This gesture, especially considering how exhausted and jet-lagged we were, was incredibly appreciated and set the tone for the rest of our stay. The suite itself was a masterpiece, recently renovated and exuding elegance at every corner. But the real highlight was undoubtedly the view – waking up each day to the picturesque scenery of Hyde Park was simply magical. Every morning, we indulged in breakfast at Origin, where food was varied and delicious, and service was phenomenal. I must give a special mention to Marina, whose exceptional attention to my family at the table made our mornings even brighter. However, it's important to note that every staff member we encountered was equally kind and warm, making us feel truly welcomed and cared for. Needless to say, the Royal Palace Hotel has secured its place at the top of my list for future London adventures. I wholeheartedly recommend it to travelers.

This property was nice. It was in a nice area as well and very walkable to the underground. We had a problem with our air conditioning in the room and they were quick to get someone to look at it. They bathrooms were nice and the room was very clean.

Very helpful staff. Some little things: Shower stall was too small and door didn’t close effectively TV remote didn’t work. Had it changed and still didn’t work. Eventually got it right. Decor on the common areas was ok, but I freely it could have been better.

The property and rooms are spacious and clean - I had a queen deluxe room and it was very big with lots of mirrors and good lighting. No coffee maker in the room - we stayed at this hotel last year and had one with teas, hot chocolate, coffee and biscuits. Not sure why this room didn't have it. Check in was slow because the hotel had system maintenance or something. Their systems were down. It was slower to check in, but the porter was great and brought our bags up for us which was nice. Parking is onsite and convenient. However, getting into the parking garage is VERY tight. if you're in SUV or a larger car, good luck. The ramp to the underground parking feels like 5 mins to drive down it goes so low. Park at your own risk. It's also very expensive for onsite parking, £45/night. The area is perfectly situated on Kensington High Street and you have access to the tube and amazing restaurants within minutes. We always stay in this area at the end of our England trips every year. Overall, will continue to stay here, but may also explore somewhere that has parking included in the pricing.

We liked the location. The bathroom in our room was pristine. The staff was great. We didn’t like the TV. The remote control was well-used and it didn’t work properly. It would often get stuck on a command or channel and freeze. It also turned on intermittently throughout the day and night causing our sleep to be disturbed. Staff assisted us with installing a safe and tried to assist with showing us how to use the TV, but we didn’t want to change rooms. Again, the staff was amazing - very attentive.

Sauberes Hotel mit freundlichem Personal, gute Lage am Hyde Park direkt am Kensington Palace. Zimmer: Unser Deluxe-Zweibettzimmer wurde aufgebettet, damit wir es als 3 Personen-Familie nutzen können. Das Zimmer war trotzdem noch sehr groß. Der vorhandene Schreibtisch war immer noch gut nutzbar und man konnte sich im Zimmer bewegen ohne sich gegenseitig auf die Füße zu treten. Das Zimmer war sauber und alle Einrichtungsgegenstände waren in Ordnung. Keine Abnutzungsspuren. Es gab eine Euro-Schuko-Steckdose. Das Bad mit Badewanne und Dusche war ebenfalls sehr sauber und ordentlich. Handtücher wurde unaufgefordert alle 2 Tage gewechselt. Unser Zimmer hatte die Fenster zur Rückseite des Hotels. Von daher war es nachts sehr ruhig. Einziger Kritikpunkt: Es gab im Zimmer keine Garderobe. Daher war das Abtrocknen lassen der nassen Regenjacken (ja, in London regnet es auch mal) nur im Bad möglich. Restaurant: Keine Aussage möglich, da wir wegen unseres Besuchsprogramms ohne Verpflegung gebucht hatten. Gegessen hatten wir meist unterwegs. Umgebung: Direkt vorm Hotel gibt es eine Bushaltestelle. Von dort gelangt man schnell in die Londoner Innenstadt. Wer lieber mit der Tube (Underground) fährt, erreicht die nächste Station ‚High Street Kensington‘ nach wenigen Minuten zu Fuß. Fußläufig sind auch einige Restaurants, Imbissläden, Lebensmittelgeschäfte und diverse Bekleidungsgeschäfte erreichbar. Zusammengefasst: Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

Ask for a renovated room—they’re beautiful. Exceptional breakfast buffet was included in our stay. Amazing location a 5 min walk from a tube line and right beside gorgeous Kensington Gardens. High quality room amenities such as Walker’s biscuits and Cadbury hot chocolate. Very expensive area and very expensive restaurants on site.

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights with family while visiting London and it was a fantastic. The amenities where great with on-site parking, breakfast was great, and the hotel is located next to many small restaurants and stores. The underground and bus stops are all within walking distance making it easy to navigate the city on public transportation. Overall, I had a great experience and would return it back in London again.
