'The location is beautiful and the house is nice. It's unfortunate that it has not been cleaned well. There were dark hairs on the sheets of both beds, a lot of the windows were dirty with smudges/smears and there were multiple areas that need dusting and vacuuming. There are some safety hazards as well like loose bricks on the bottom of the steps. With a really good deep clean and regular maintenance this could easily be a five star stay. 'Enjoyed our stay. House was very clean. Well equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds. Wonderful towels. I was surprised to find that one of the full bathrooms was in the basement rec room. It worked out fine for us but I was expecting two bathrooms on the second floor with the three bedrooms. I could not tell from the online description where the bathrooms were located. 'I enjoyed my stay. The place is recently remodeled, so it looks very nice. It’s close to town but it feels like you’re miles away. The area around the place was peaceful and quiet. The host was very responsive on text and through the Vrbo app.'

'The house was clean, warm, and welcoming. It is in a very private setting in the woods, but a very easy walk to local stores, dollar tree, or a nice local brewery. We had a great time sitting by the fire and in the hot tub with the sound of the creek behind us, the kids even enjoyed a little swim. The creek is only about a foot at the deepest, so it was a short swim, but they enjoyed it! '

'This was a very welcoming community! As a black woman where I had my two kids with me and they had a park that’s walkable distance and nice restaurants a walkable distance! It’s a really cute and quaint place to stay. WiFi was very strong so I was still able to work with no interruptions. The host was very quick to respond to any of my questions. I felt safe in the community.'
