'Close to Halifax but in a quieter area with a nice view. Room was clean and nice with a cool skylight. Decent internet connection. You can chrome cast to the tv which is also nice. Cleanest bathroom I’ve seen anywhere I’ve stayed in a long time. Liked having a kitchenette in the room and large fridge. In walking distance to some good local restaurants and activities. Tim’s, gas, pharmacy right a cross the road. Will definitely stay here again next time I’m in Halifax. '

'This is an old, tired hotel in need of renovation. Also the late shift staff is anything but helpful. For one, this hotel has no lift which is a pain if you arrive with heavy luggage, and the evening staff decides to give you a second floor room, and subsequently doesn't offer to help you carry the heavy luggage upstairs. Only, the (male) receptionist was most probably right, that I did not have rights for free breakfasts, but he brought this in such an unfriendly way, that this has influence on my review.
