The hosts are very active and successful artists who all but gave us a private master class in how their work is imagined and created. I don’t know when we’ve had a more delightful weekend. It’s also charming, somewhat quirky, clean, comfortable, has very nice room amenities and internet access, a friendly attentive staff, a nice bar and restaurant, a lovely pool, is waterfront and has a great front porch with rockers. 'We’ve stayed at several properties in the Greenport area and this was our first time at Silver Sands; we loved it! The rooms were updated, clean and cute. The beach access was a huge plus, as well as on site restaurants. They don’t charge for parking (as some hotels nearby are starting to do) and the location is central to Greenport Village and the wineries. We went for an anniversary trip and stayed in the motel section but would definitely come back with the kids and try out the bungalows!...

The only problem they gave us the wrong apartment the first day. What was shown on Expedia (two Queen beds) it wasn't the same of what they gave us there (1 Queen bed and 1 Queen sofa bed). But after talking with the manager, they gave us a solution, but we had to wait until the following day to be switched to the right place. '
