'The property was close to the wedding venue at the mansion. When we arrived at the cottage and opened the door there was a heavy musty smell. The baseboards and vents were filthy. The bathroom door was clearly rotten from top to bottom. The entire bathroom is in dire need of a remodel.'

'We enjoyed the stay very much. No complaints but a note that the bed in one cabin wasn’t made when we arrived. Clean sheets were folded at the foot of the bed and we just made it ourselves, but I’m not sure if the cleaning crew just missed that or what. Also, it was the end of July so I’m not surprised there wasn’t any firewood available but it was a cooler night and there wasn’t any under the porch as stated in the info. We had bought some duraflame logs, just in case, thankfully.'

'Great place to relax with the family - especially if they’re into LOTR. Our kids loved it and the host was great. Very welcoming and responsive.'

Bonuses; chickens on site provided fresh eggs, in room coffee, tea and hot cocoa service, extra large community hot tub, fire pit with swings around it, fitness room, charcoal...
