'We were pleasantly surprised to find a well stocked kitchen with a refrigerator and gas stove. The only thing we missed was a tea kettle to heat up water for tea, and there was no saucepan. We made due with the stock pot supplied. It was clean and comfortable. We appreciated being able to bring our dog. The grounds were pet friendly and relaxing. '

'My husband and I had a great stay. Don and Sandra are great hosts! Don emailed the night before to let us know the cabin was ready and we could check in anytime the next day. Cabin was just what we needed, bed was comfy and you couldn't beat the view of the lake. Seasonal campers were super friendly too. We'll definitely be back when venturing to this area. Thanks for a great week of relaxation! '

'We had a great stay at this property. It was just what we were looking for - far enough away from everything, yet still close enough for activities and things to do with short drives. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils and supplies to cook. We loved the water pressure in the shower! Laundry facilities were convenient. Mattress is new-ish and high quality. We fell in love with the Manistee area and are already planning a return visit this region in the future. '
