The Red Bridge House is een spectaculair huis, gelegen tussen het gedrang van Lake Rescue en de vredige kalmte van Lake Pauline.

Speel in het dok of bij de dam van Red Bridge in de voortuin, of ontspan tussen de bomen op het schiereiland achter het meer van Pauline. Het is slechts 5 minuten rijden naar Okemo Resort en het centrum van Ludlow.

Binnen, geniet van een volledig uitgeruste keuken, open haard, surround sound-systeem en tv, een jacuzzi, balkon en dek in deze prachtige vakman post en balk naar huis.

Binnenshuis biedt zachte en gezellige vloerbedekking, uitgestrekte gewelfde plafonds met balken en balken en alle details van thuis. Er is een ruime modderkamer voor al uw outdooraccessoires, een volledig uitgeruste keuken met alle benodigde prep en serveerartikelen, een vaatwasser, een koffie- / espressomachine en meer. Grote eetkamer voor 6 personen met uitzicht op het dek, Lake Pauline, Lake Rescue en de Rode Brug. De familiekamer heeft veel comfortabele zitgelegenheden om gezellig bij te komen tot de volledig functionele open haard of de flatscreen-tv met surround sound. Er zijn drie ruime slaapkamers om uit te kiezen; een tweepersoonskamer op de eerste verdieping met een eigen badkamer en een bureau, een tweede verdieping met vijf aparte bedden met een leeshoek en uitzicht op Lake Rescue, of de hoofdkoningin met een eigen badkamer met jacuzzi en een balkon om te genieten van 180 graden uitzicht . Volledige was beschikbaar als je in de kelder nodig hebt.

Buitenshuis biedt een spectaculaire en unieke locatie aan Lake Rescue. Dit is HET huis op de Rode Brug en loopt over de breedte van Lake Rescue tot Lake Pauline. In de voortuin is een zitbank genesteld in de bloementuin met een steiger aan de zijkant, waardoor u een onbelemmerd uitzicht op Lake Rescue heeft. Het pand wikkelt zich langs de Rode Brug dam naar Lake Pauline, waar u kunt genieten van een meer rustig en afgelegen aspect van de meren, compleet met een eiland-achtige beboste inlaat en vuurplaats. Kano en kajak beschikbaar op aanvraag, op risico van de gebruiker. Alsof je dit huis ooit zou willen verlaten! Maar als je dat doet, zijn we slechts 5 minuten rijden van Okemo, winkels en het centrum van Ludlow.

Great Location

We loved staying at the place. Close to Okemo and about 25 minutes from Killington. The jacuzzi tub works well and very helpful since I got injured after the first day of skiing and needed it. A nice wood burning fire place. The owner was quick to respond if we had any questions. Beds were comfortable. Has a nice space in the foyer area for storing ski equipment. We were also happy that the beds came with sheets and towels were supplied. You have to put the sheets on when you get there though.

Wonderful stay at the red bridge!

Such a perfect spot between Lake Pauline and Lake Rescue! Our family has been staying on Lake Rescue for decades and this has become a favorite house to rent. Great kayaks for short row to the Green Mtn Sugar House. Beautiful docs on both lakes. Great fishing from the property on the border of the two lakes. Easy trip to Weston & VT Country Store & Weston Playhouse, and Buttermilk Falls. House was clean and had everything we needed - even a lobster pot for a fun New England meal! Thank you!

Great house

The house was exactly as described and pictured. We stayed two families with 3 young kids (5-7) and it was perfect. It felt more spacious than on the pictures and very well equipped. Very close and easy drive to Okemo. The location is beautiful, right on the lake. Must be amazing all year round. We would definitely stay again.

Great Cottage in Ludlow

The location of this place is fantastic. It takes literally 5 minutes to drive to Jackson Gore. The place was clean and had everything we needed. There were 8 of us and though the house looks tiny from the outside, we were pleasantly surprised at the actual size of it. There was plenty of space for everyone.

Amazing Okemo home base

My group was up for a weekend of skiing at Okemo and we could not have been happier with the location of our home base. Suzanne was quick to answer any questions we had and the house was well equipped. Being 10 minutes from Okemo base lodge and parking made getting first chair a breeze, too! We were a full house with every bed spoken for but the cabin didn't feel cramped at all. I would love to take even better advantage of this spot in the warmer months but it was amazing as it was for a group ski getaway. My only complaint would be that a lot of the check-out information was hidden in the listing details so make sure you read carefully!

Okemo Ski Weekend

We stayed there to have close access to Okemo which was great. The house worked out well and would definitely book again. It was right on the water which was a plus! The only thing we didn't expect was to have to shovel the driveway a bit upon arrival, but it wasn't a huge deal.

Great spot for a family trip

We love this area for the lakes and proximity to all that's available in the region. There was plenty of space to spread out both indoors and out, and we loved being able to paddle to get maple creemees on the Lake Pauline side. Beds are comfy, kitchen is well equipped, and communication with our host was easy and helpful. Neighbors are friendly, too. This is a solid rental!

Once again an awesome week

This is our second time staying at the Red Bridge House and it was just as wonderful as the first time. The house is well equipped with most things you would need and if the house doesn't have it, do you really need it? Mornings and evenings were spent enjoying favorite beverages on the side deck watching the waterfalls and wildlife. Afternoons were spent in the waterfalls relaxing or just on the other side of the falls swimming. We were able to bring our boat this time to enjoy more of the lake and could tie up to the dock on Lake Rescue. Kayaks are provided and came in handy for fishing on Lake Pauline (you can get a fishing license online) Living areas in the house are spacious (there were 7 adults)and the beds are comfortable. Owner has added a small fridge in the dining area which came in handy for adult beverages and water. The only downside for this rental is the lack of a usable outdoor grill, hopefully it will be replaced. The upside of that is we enjoyed Outer Limits Brewing Company in Proctorsville on a couple of occasions and Calcutta's at the Fox Run Golf Course. I recommend both.

Lovely stay on lake rescue

Our family had a wonderful stay at red bridge. The host, Suzanne, was amazingly responsive and helpful. The house is in a perfect summer spot. It is right next to red bridge dam, an amazing swimming spot. The house has its own dock on Lake Rescue right across red bridge road. The house also has frontage on Lake Pauline and has a second dock and other access points on Pauline. There are many boats (several kayaks, a canoe, etc..) and all the necessary gear. The spot is great for swimming, boating, fishing, and even wading with little kids. The house is lovely - really cozy and super livable. Kitchen is well equipped, the beds and linens are comfortable, and there are beautiful water views from almost every window. We're looking forward to a return visit!

Ski Weekend at Red Bridge House

Family of four had a pleasant stay at Red Bridge House. When we arrived, the house was clean and neat. Heat, despite sub zero weather, was adequate. The kitchen was well equipped. Appliances etc. were in good repair. The dining table is large as pictured. Great for meals, but also games, space to spread out work and a laptop etc. The TV space is cozy and functional and could seat 5 comfortably. Both bathrooms were functional and roomy. The three bedrooms each had privacy. The beds were comfortable. The location is quiet, apart the white noise of the river. The fireplace works well. Minor observations: * There was a 14" snowfall. Although snow clearing of the parking area was supposed to be provided, it didn't occur. Fortunately, the parking is immediately adjacent the road. Shoveling out was not a huge task. the public plowing on Red Bridge Rd, was frequent and thorough. * The house could use an overall facelift, especially the carpets and bathrooms. * Make sure when you rent you are aware that you have to deliver your own garbage to the transfer station. This may be usual in Ludlow. The transfer station is not far, but also not on most people's way out of town. And, unless you are driving a pickup or have only spent one night, you probably need a separate trip to avoid packing bags of kitchen garbage on top of an already pretty full vehicle. That said, the house is 10 minutes from Okemo and worked well for skiing. The setting is very pretty.

Excellent house for a lakeside getaway

My friends and I enjoyed our stay here. The location is fantastic, right between two lakes with beautiful views. We took advantage of our warmest day to take the kayaks out on Lake Pauline. The house is a quick drive into the town of Ludlow and accessible to several other charming nearby towns. Suzanne was very helpful and quick to answer any questions.

Incredible double lake view

This home has incredible lake access to two lakes and breathtaking views. The property was clean and well stocked - my kids loved the wood blocks and trucks. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals and the grill worked perfectly. We enjoyed using the kayak and canoe on both lakes. As mentioned by other reviewers, the composting toilets were a new experience for our group and took some getting used to for the kids. The upstairs bathroom has a tub with a handheld wand, but no full shower.

2 lakes are better than 1

We had a fantastic week at the Red Bridge House. Paddling on Lake Pauline, motor boat abs fishing on Lake Rescue, kayaking in both … plus a great house and outdoor area, with fire pit. Very well equipped. Be sure to look up Ludlow’s rules for separating recycling and food waste, as they are very strict when you drop it off at the transfer station.
