'This hotel was one of our favorite things about a 10-day trip to PR. We we loved the quiet retreat, including being able to stargaze and hear the birds. The open-air style of the room was fantastic -- we stayed dry during rain and saw very few bugs. Carmen and her team are friendly and helpful. The pool is also beautiful! It was well worth the stay a few minutes outside of either town.'

'Bananas Guesthouse was very convenient, exactly as advertised, totally adequate for our needs; would stay again. The rooms of the Guesthouse are behind a bar/restaurant of the same name. The key pick-up boxes are just at the back of the restaurant area and you self check-in after 4, getting your key and access to your room. The room is basic but was clean and the fridge worked. Didn't use the air conditioning as the overhead fan was enough with open windows. That was the only thing I'd note,...
