'Had an amazing stay at Jewel Howard Carter Hotel. We had incredible service the entire time we were there - the staff were amazing and accomodating and had amazing recommendations the entire time. Laundry service was available and great price. Swimming pool was beautifully kept, they even had an organic farm with bananas, mangos and herbs. It’s in a quieter area of Luxor, so if you’re wanting to explore East Bank (the busier side of the city) be prepared for slightly higher taxi fares back...

'Goed hotel, goede service. Jammer genoeg geen lift. Wij hadden wat problemen met de douche, iets wat je meerdere landen tegenkomt, dus geen reden om weg te blijven. Deze ongemakken worden ruimschoots gecompenseerd door het mooie uitzicht boven op het dakterras. Ook de bediening was uitermate vriendelijk.'

'20min walk from Luxor temple, several restaurants for dinner and a rooptoppool. On arrival they give you a personal tour in the hotel. Only negative point is that there is no extra AC in the gym. Or i didn't find it.'

'Although the internet service of this hotel is REALLY bad, the rest of it is plainly gorgeous. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. The staff is corteous, helpful, friendly, and efficient. It was a big contrast with staff at other Egyptian hotels I've stayed during this visit. The hotel facilities are excellent, and the location is great. 'Very nice, large and comfortable room with superb bathroom. Very clean and nice hotel, friendly staff. The pool is fun and clean enough :) we had the idea we were the only ones in the hotel whilst in high season but we absolutely loved it! Located nearby the ferry station if you want to go to the East bank so very handy! The prices are very very reasonable, you’ll get a lot in return.'
