'Great stay, lovely pool with the greatest Nile view, and all staff is so kind and service-oriented, from the reception desk, to the gardemers, from security to barkeeper. You feel at home! Our room was comfortable, the only issue is the fact that there is a mosque nearby, and the morning prayers are early and loud, and the room is not very soundproof... But, this is clearly compensated by all the positives.'

'Alhoewel men culinair hier en/of daar wel een steekje durft laten vallen is, zijn de 3 restaurants, op hun geheel beoordeeld, bevredigend. Vooral het restaurant La Fleur, met soms aangename verrassingen. De "Happy 1+1 hour" in Ascot Bar, van 5:30 pm tot 6:30 pm is m.i. eveneens een nuttige, onderbenutte tip ....'

'This was a magnificent hotel. Tucked out of the way in the quiet rural part of the West Bank. The staff were super sweet and attentive and nothing was too much to ask. The room was gorgeous with heaps of character, you felt every bit of furniture had a story to tell. The food was the best we ate on our 2 week trip of Egypt, high quality and classy yet not ridiculously expensive. I’d recommend this hotel to anyone!'

'Fantastic stay at the Djorff Palace. The setting is magical located on the quite and beautiful West Bank, the Palace allows a peaceful stay along the Nile’s shores. The building itself is unbelievable, built with taste and lot attention to the details, wooden balconies and windows, the place in itself a journey back to the past. 'Goed hotel, goede service. Jammer genoeg geen lift. Wij hadden wat problemen met de douche, iets wat je meerdere landen tegenkomt, dus geen reden om weg te blijven. Deze ongemakken worden ruimschoots gecompenseerd door het mooie uitzicht boven op het dakterras. Ook de bediening was uitermate vriendelijk.'
