'Had an amazing stay at Jewel Howard Carter Hotel. We had incredible service the entire time we were there - the staff were amazing and accomodating and had amazing recommendations the entire time. Laundry service was available and great price. Swimming pool was beautifully kept, they even had an organic farm with bananas, mangos and herbs. It’s in a quieter area of Luxor, so if you’re wanting to explore East Bank (the busier side of the city) be prepared for slightly higher taxi fares back...

'We booked the royal apartment for a full week , it’s on the West Bank very close to everything ( Valley of the kings , Hatschbesut and Habu temple etc ) Very spacious clean apartment, very friendly staff. The owner Mr Khodair is very helpful and professional. Anter had our delicious breakfast ready every morning ☺️ Thank you all 👌'

'Goed hotel, goede service. Jammer genoeg geen lift. Wij hadden wat problemen met de douche, iets wat je meerdere landen tegenkomt, dus geen reden om weg te blijven. Deze ongemakken worden ruimschoots gecompenseerd door het mooie uitzicht boven op het dakterras. Ook de bediening was uitermate vriendelijk.'

'Fantastic stay at the Djorff Palace. The setting is magical located on the quite and beautiful West Bank, the Palace allows a peaceful stay along the Nile’s shores. The building itself is unbelievable, built with taste and lot attention to the details, wooden balconies and windows, the place in itself a journey back to the past. 'Nice accommodation in city center with swimmingpool. Room is decent with hot water, good AC, clean sheets and a small refrigerator with friezer. We had dinner there twice and the food was really good!'

'Mooi hotel op het rustige west bank van Luxor. Oase van rust in een afgelegen deel van de stad. Heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel die ons erg goed geholpen heeft maar af en toe ook iets te veel aanwezig was. Dat had ook te maken dat wij precies er waren toen het net wat rustiger was in het hotel. Hele leuke kittens, mooi zwembad en heel mooi duurzaam gebouw en faciliteiten. Ook waren we erg tevreden met het vervoer en de tours die we hebben geregeld via het hotel. Eten was ook prima voor...

'It was great to stay in Steinberger. The care for details was huge and the care for the family was great. Mohamed at the entrance was very kind and the kids felt as if they came home, the rest of the trip they kept talking about this hotel. They helped with arranging drivers and tours where asked. Amazing, if ever coming back, I am coming back here.'

'The property was outstanding! Very tranquil and lush. We enjoyed exploring every bit of the property. The hotel staff were all attentive and respectful. The hotel arranged a local guide, named Hamatto who was just excellent. He is an Egyptologist and gave us so much back story of ancient Egypt. We loved our tours with him!'

'Very nice, large and comfortable room with superb bathroom. Very clean and nice hotel, friendly staff. The pool is fun and clean enough :) we had the idea we were the only ones in the hotel whilst in high season but we absolutely loved it! Located nearby the ferry station if you want to go to the East bank so very handy! The prices are very very reasonable, you’ll get a lot in return.'
