'This Holiday Inn actually adjoins the Hualuxe Hotel (both properties are owned by the IHG group). When you arrive, you check in at the Hualuxe reception area. A buffet breakfast is served on Level 1 of the Hualuxe property; guests also have access to the swimming pool on Level 3 of the Hualuxe Hotel. The properties are located in a fairly quiet, leafy area, and it's only a 12-minute walk to the Guangming Road metro station, from where you can get to the centre of Shanghai in just over an hour....

'Room condition is excellent especially the bathroom which is very spacious and warm with separate air conditioning control. The landing area is a nice touch. Bed is very comfortable. TV is big and sharp. The only thing is that we did not get a welcome fruit platter which we got all the other hotels. View from the window is also great. Hotel is one block walk from nearest subway station. Neighbourhood is quiet and appears somewhat upmarket.'
