'The house is located on a hill and the neighbours are mostly farmers. The house offers all necessary facilities and as a guest you can also use its beautiful garden. A small supermarket and a baker are within 5 min driving distance. The hosts are very helpful and friendly and gave us some good suggestions for trips to interesting places and for nice hikes. If you like a relaxing holiday in the Faial countryside we can recommend this house.'

'Wat een ongelooflijk mooi huis met prachtig uitzicht, zelfs vanuit alle slaapkamers geweldig uitzicht op zee. Het huis was heel comfortabel, ook bij wat minder mooi weer, heel goed uitgerust en mooi ingericht. Ongeveer 1.5 km lopen naar Santo Amoro, mooi klein dorpje met een hele leuke mercearia met lekkere verse boordjes, croissants en lekkere koffie. Ontvangst door helena was heel warm en plezierig.'

'The house was comfortable. The gentleman living in the adjacent home was very gracious, helpful and welcoming. The house is as listed. It is a short walk to the ocean. The view of the volcano, Pico, is magnificent. The house is about 15 minutes driving from the airport, 15-20 minutes from a supermarket, and 20-25 minutes from the ferry in Magdalena.
