Fabulous Flat!
The flat is located near multiple metro stations and offers all the comforts of home - washer/dryer, dishwasher, fridge and freezer...great large bathrooms (fabulous water pressure in shower). Host is amazing with communication and was so kind! Definitely pick!

Beautiful apartment
The pictures don’t show the true beauty of this apartment. I was there a week with my husband and elderly mother. It was wonderful. The location is great and we were able to walk to many places, shops, etc. we hope to return to Madrid and would love to stay here again!

The property was very nice, comfortable and safe, but the best attribute was its location on a pedestrian street and within walking distance to all major attractions. Yordy, was very nice and accommodating. He was just a iPhone call away. I would highly recommend this property.

Great Madrid Adventure
The apartment was just as described in the listing. Very easy to get to, close to a lot of things you want to see in Madrid, and a great spot to just relax. It was nice to feel like part of the neighborhood. Check in and out was easy, the washer and dryer (!! not common) were such a help for packing light. It was just what we needed.

Excellent condo in Madrid
I would highly recommend this property for your next stay in Madrid. . Great location - Plenty of good restaurants and shops around. Easy walking distance to the Royal Palace. Plenty of taxis in that area, never had to wait long for one. The unit itself is spacious and well lit. The washer and dryer and dishwasher all work well. The host provides is a very nice guide book with instructions for all of the appliances as well recommendations on things to see, restaurants, etc. which was very appreciated. Belen and Jordi were great to work with and made the whole process very easy and we would definitely go back.

Great apartment and great location in Central Madrid
I highly recommend this apartment for comfort, amenities and location. The apartment is modern, comfortable and well-appointed. The check-in process was easy and well managed by Jordi. Jordi was super helpful in explaining the apartment and gave some great local restaurant recommendations. Thanks Jordi! I stayed here with two of my adult children and there was enough room for all of us. There was also a very helpful guide for local restaurants, things-to-do, and places to go. That came in very handy. The location is awesome. There are so many things to do within walking distance and countless cafes and restaurants locally. I'd definitely stay here again. Amazing large apartment
This was a gorgeous place to stay with much more room than we were expecting. The location was perfect for walking 20 minutes to the shopping districts and having quiet dinners in the neighborhood restaurants. The cement tiles and quality wood cabinetry through out was much more than expected for a nightly rental, gorgeous light coming in through the windows in the mornings was a delight. This is close to a palace? and a cathedral that seemed like it was a tourist attraction. There were tuk tuk tours and a busy Mercato very nearby. This didn't especially bother us but we came more for a neighborhood experience and didn't do much research on the neighborhood first so over all it was a delightful suprise.

Great apartment near everthing
First, let's talk about location, you can't beat it. It's within walking distance to the Palace, Plaza Mayor, Mercado de San Miguel...you name it! It gave us that "living like local" kinda feeling, which we always love. Plenty of space for 4, two large bathrooms, air-conditioned, the smallest elevator we've ever seen (I say this as a complement, because that's why we love Europe). We loved our stay for 5 days and highly recommend it to everyone who travels to Madrid.

Perfect in every way
This was our first trip to Madrid so we didn't know what to expect. The location of the apartment was perfect, with easy access to many attractions and taxis. Jordi met us when we checked in and gave us a tour of the place, which really helped us to settle in. The apartment was spacious, The bed was comfortable, and my wife loved the bath.

Highly recommend
Grab it while you can! We had a fantastic 8 day stay at this super conveniently located, very quiet, spacious two bedroom, two bathroom apartment close to everything. We walked everywhere in the old town area and never needed to use public transportation. The apartment is a 10-15 minute walk to Calle de la Cava Baja that boats lots of great restaurants. What could be better? The owners were extremely responsive and helpful and even ordered a taxi for us for our departure flight. We appreciated their responsiveness and helpful suggestions from the beginning of the booking which was 5 months earlier. As the apartment is located on a one way street, our taxi driver had some problems finding the apartment and dropped us off a couple of streets too soon which made a bit of of a slog with our suitcases. We appreciated the owner making sure that our pick up taxi picked us up at the right location. Having a washer and dryer is great and we appreciated that we did not have to buy detergent. As shown on the photos, the second bedroom has twin beds and the second bathroom has a tub, no shower and two hand held mirrors, rather than wall mirrors. The hot water pressure in the main bathroom shower was strong, and the towels were soft and smelled great. We did not find any plugs in the main bathroom which was not a problem for us, as there is a big mirror in the dining room with good light. We would defiantly stay here again and recommend it highly!

Perfect Location
Great communication with the friendliest property manager I have eve dealt with (Jordi). Could not think of a better location. Could walk to all major places and yet the place is relatively quiet. Just the occasional barking dog a from a neighbor. Bed is a little hard but I have that complaint everywhere I go. Family area is more spacious in person than in the pictures. Crazy elevator that you have to experience to believe. I believe the width is two feet, but we got my family of three in it. If it gets stuck, it will be an experience. Would stay there again.

Quiet for sleeping but short walk to most everywhere!
We are family of 4 from Wisconsin, USA (2 adults, 2 college students). Belen and Jordi communicated well before, during and after our stay. The apartment is large. Especially liked the King bed in the main bedroom (hard to find!). Having two baths with our two college kids along was a godsend though note the 2nd bath has a toilet, vanity and tub only with hand sprayer (main bedroom has shower and a separate tub along with toilet and double sinks). Quiet at night for sleeping. Had a washer AND dryer though we still hung a few thinks in the line over the courtyard to be more European 😉. Took a little bit to figure out how to use the washer and dryer as I think someone took the “English” pictorial directions out of the book. Fast to get an UBER if going far (we took an UBER to Atocha train station vs walking when we left for Barcelona but otherwise walked everywhere)- all the sites, restaurants and bars in Centro are within walking distance. The Palace is a mere 5 min walk. The elevator is the tiniest we have ever been on but kinda fun! We enjoyed our time there and were glad we picked this place!

Overall, it’s a great apartment. It was perfect for a work trip to Madrid. The Wi-Fi was fast and the lighting was perfect for video calls. The flat was clean and well maintained. Checking in and out was easy. I’d recommend this flat to others for a stay in Madrid.

Well equipped, comfortable, lots of space and storage, bedroom in the back off the street so quiet, good kitchen, amusing elevator squeeze into stairwell that works great, perfect location, friendly and gracious host. Perfect for 2 people; there is a small second bedroom with twin beds and bathroom, so would work for 4 people as well.

Sensational apartment in a great location!
This was the last leg of our almost month-long trip across Spain. The location is absolutely fantastic with lovely bars and restaurants within walking distance. While the check-in was not in person it was done utilizing WhatsApp and a number of videos that were sent to our email. These explained everything. The kitchen was well stocked with all of the spices and extras such as olive oil that we needed. You can see that the owners spent the time and energy 2 decorate and furnish the apartment to make people feel comfortable. If we were to stay in Madrid again we would stay in a place like this. As a real estate investor myself, a minor suggestion to the owners is that the place likely needs a new Fresh coat of paint and that the sofa is starting to show its age. I wouldn't hesitate recommending this apartment to anyone.

This property was ideal for visiting all the sites in Madrid. The location couldn't be better for easy access to everything but just tucked away enough to not be noisy. The restaurants around the corner were amazing. This was a great property for us with its two bedrooms and two bathrooms, kitchen and lounge area, to not feel cramped with four of us. The elevator is tiny but functional for bringing up luggage etc. Communication was excellent, and both Belen and Jordi were pleasant and easy to work with. Thank you!

We enjoyed the location and furnishings of this rental; however, I most want to emphasize the help that Jordi provided upon our arrival. He spent over an hour helping us with phone issues and did a great job of getting us acclimated to the neighborhood. The apartment was very spacious and although close to the action, was quiet at night.

The owner was fantastic to work with, and very quick to respond to any questions. The property was exactly as shown on VRBO. It was the perfect location for us. Very clean! Also, very quiet and relaxing. We were warmly welcomed with a thorough tour of the apartment and how to use all the appliances, etc. We will definitely stay here again!

Excellent location, poor condition
This property gets a 5 star for location and spaciousness. From that perspective, it was good value for the price paid. Unfortunately, it is very dirty and has not had a deep cleaning in months, perhaps years. There are no obvious Covid protocols in place. Door handles and doors (blood stains on bathroom door) were dirty and had to be cleaned with bleach cloths along with all other touch surfaces. There was dust everywhere, items on surfaces were dusted around and baseboards were filthy as were the inside of all the cupboards, kitchen drawers and bathroom cabinets. The furniture is stained and tired. The entire apartment needs a refresh. Given that I depend partially on property reviews when choosing a property, it was a very disappointing start to our time in Madrid. I rely partially on customer reviews when choosing a property and don't know how this one got 5 stars.

Dear Jane, I am sorry to hear about your complaints and requests, which I tried to communicate and resolve rapidly and in a timely manner during your stay. The apartment was cleaned before your stay and regularly deep cleaned. It is not a brand new property but I maintain the cleaning and covid protocols to a high standard. in 15 years of renting on two platforms (with the same cleaning company ) I have never received those comments. I take it as an opportunity to find ways to keep improving, of course, which is my goal in hosting. I hope you still enjoyed your stay in Madrid.

Best experience yet
The flat is ideal for so many reasons - location, comfortable beds, sound sleep. I was in Madrid for work and this apartment had the added bonus of a fantastic background for Zoom meetings (and very fast wifi). I'd gladly return and would hope that flat is available! Jordi was super helpful and the flat was exactly as advertised. The front door is three minutes from the Mercado de San Miguel, one of the world's greatest food halls. Some reviews have pointed out noise issues and these are real. But as someone who lives in an apartment in another densely populated city, this was well within expectations for urban living. This is a great apartment and it's in one of the world's greatest cities, so complete silence is t a realistic expectation.

Great Location
The location of the apartment is great. It is roomy and we loved the fact it had 2 bathrooms so we were not having to share one bathroom. Within walking distance of many of the must see while in Madrid. It could use a good makeover and cleaning. And our biggest issue was the lack of internet for most of our stay. It was difficult to plan our day trips in and around Madrid so we had to go and hangout in restaurants that provided wifi. That's not why we want to go to restaurants. I realize that Covid has probably had an effect on rental properties but you should be able to have what is included in the listing for your stay like internet.

As I communicated during your stay, it was very unfortunate that the internet just dropped the day you arrived. The provider just notified me of this ( as the internet tower just closed) and did my best to resolve it as you as possible; taking into account that there was in the midst of a holiday long weekend. I provided you my neighbor internet access, during this inconvenience. Apologies and hope you still enjoyed your stay.

Fantastic, spacious apartment
Our group of three had a wonderful stay in this apartment. The communication from the booking request, during our visit, and through the end of our stay was stellar. Jordi was very responsive and helpful and we appreciated his quick responses. The apartment location was perfect. Walking distance to so many sites and places to eat. We intended to purchase metro passes but Madrid is such a walkable city, we used our feet and an occasional taxi. There is an elevator that was added later to the building that was quite an adventure. But its purpose is to get your luggage to the 4th floor and it did that just fine. Zero complaints. We were grandparents traveling with our granddaughter, so enjoyed how spacious the apartment is; the separate large bedrooms and the separate wonderful bathrooms. Huge shower in the master and two huge soaking tubs in each bathroom. We intended to eat out, but with the virus lock down closing restaurants, ended up buying groceries and using the well-equipped kitchen for our meals the last three days. It had everything we needed. We also appreciated the washer and dryer, which we took full advantage of. We’d absolutely return to this apartment on a future trip to Madrid.

We spent 3 days in this nice apartment in the heart of Madrid. Great beds, good shower, plenty of space and an adventurous elevator! We had a great time. Fantastic restaurants in the area, we specially recommend Korgui, just 3 min. walk from the apartment, great coctails and very good food.

Enjoyable Madrid stay
This property was well located. We were able to walk anyplace we wanted or take a cab if we didn't want to walk. We walked to restaurants, shopping, sightseeing. Everything fit our needs except the second bedroom needs a mirror in the bathroom.

Spacious apartment in the center of Madrid
Beautiful apartment in a terrific location in Madrid. Very spacious and nicely decorated apartment with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Property is on a quiet street but the soundproofing within the apartment building itself is minimal. Three of the 4 days we were there a dog in the apartment below barked consistently for hours each day. We heard every step of the young family above as well. If you are a larger group it will likely not affect you. It was just 2 of us so we had more quiet time to ourselves. Still highly recommend the property, just wanted to make others aware for those who are sensitive to that sort of thing.
