'Tricky to comment as, having paid several months in advance, I never actually got to visit the apartment itself! The host sent through the check-in details at 8.30pm the night before the actual booking, by which time I'd had to find alternative accommodation for my elderly parents and myself as, until the last minute, we didn't know if we'd be able to actually get into the accommodation. Practically non existent communication from the host, despite multiple messages. Vrbo redirected me back to...

'Very quiet and rural location. There is pub nearby which has great atmosphere and really good food. Well placed to travel around and see the different sites.'

'The Brown Trout Golf and Country Inn was perfect. Very friendly staff. Had two meals here. Had lovely food and plenty of it. The breakfasts were also good. Had English and then had a lighter breakfast the next day, yoghurt and fruit with toast to follow. The room was also lovely, our own little cottage style room. Plenty of space and comfortable and clean. The lounge area was cosy as well with a log fire. I could have stayed here a week.'
