'Een bijzondere ervaring, dat was het. Mede door het warme en gastvrije onthaal door de vrouw des huizes. Het landhuis zelf is oud, maar van binnen met veel smaak opgeknapt en gemeubileerd. Het heeft alle comfort, maar ademt tegelijk de sfeer van Downton Abbey. Onze kamer had een prachtig uitzicht op de enorme tuin en het bos daarachter en het grootste en beste bed van al onze Engelse logies. Van harte aanbevolen!'

'This is the the most wonderful place for an 'escape'. Miles from anywhere but in the middle of the most beautiful Devon countryside. The welcome was lovely, the room was superb - as was the breakfast - in all the perfect stay.The local pub in tremendous and do very nice food but you will need to drive, the walk back would be a challenge after a few.'

'A very attractive place. The dogs, cat and people on the farm were all very welcoming. The rooms upstairs were a little hot, but it was 32 °C outside. The garden, especially the big tree, were a blessing. We enjoyed our last full English breakfast, before we headed back home. '

'Fantastic base for our trip to Longleat. Plenty of off road parking and Pauline and Nigel made us feel very welcome. Water and milk was ready in the fridge on our arrival and the microwave and toaster came in really handy. There was also the supercar storage facility nearby that do food and also the George pub about 15-20 minutes walk away which was a lovely walk (albeit in the middle of a heatwave).'

'We spent 5 days here over New Years and had the most perfect time away. The farm house was so lovely and all our needs were catered for. There were even logs provided for the log fire. The location was absolutely stunning, very good for the soul. Plenty of room for all 7 of us, and the kids enjoyed it too. Beds are comfy. 'What a lovely weekend we had at Lucy’s Farmhouse! From the moment we arrived we were greeted by cows and horses, rolling green hills and a real sense of peace. The property was great for us as a group of 5 friends with our little ones too. It was very comfortable, spacious and well equipped. With the beautiful weather we had, we really utilised the outside space, including the hot tub! Thanks for having us '

'Property manager sent really good instructions to find the property before arrival and added more valuable information about the area. Communication was super easy and forthcoming.
