'This is a nice hotel in a truly spectaculair situation. And what a vieuw! If you’re looking for luxury and large rooms this is not for you. But it is in a building with character and charm. Nice room and bathroom, clean, good bed and pillows and a good breakfast with plenty of choice. Carpets on the floor, not my favorite in any hotel, not hygiënic. For eldery people the roads are steep and slippery (cobblestones). No parking. Rye is truly charming, well worth a visit! '

'Lovely property and really enjoyed our stay. Staff was helpful, bar was lovely, room was spacious and homely.'

'Debra and Drew were very welcoming hosts. We used The Barn as a lauch pad to visit Chartwell and Knole. Perfect choice. The accommodation was beautifully decorated and impeccably clean. We were spoilt for choice regarding local eateries. We chose The White Hart for dinner and it was top knotch. '

'Lovely place to stay, basically a guest room in a shared house though. Quiet hours meant no late showers which was hard when our days were planned ahead of time. Host was sweet and the room was nice, just felt like a lot of rules that would’ve been helpful ahead of time. The small town is so fun, loved walking around the stores and trying all the local restaurants - they close early so plan for that!'

'It's such a lovely place. We had a wonderful time. Thank you for your hospitality, indeed.'

'A beautifully appointed and comfortable room in a quiet and convenient location in easy walking distance of the town centre. The owners had thought of everything a guest could possibly want and provided a very comprehensive information pack. Would definitely recommend.'

'the Key code was wrong, it is smaller than expected, that is the bad here is the good, I had to call at just past midnight for the code and they answered and resolved the issue, it was nice and quite,'

'Communication with host was poor. No information on check in procedure. No information on which room we had booked. No key in key safe.We only gained access due to a helpful fellow resident, who let us in and helped us find a free room.Room poorly maintained with curtains held up by string and blinds broken.Altogether very poor'

'Mooie inn op een mooie locatie. Helaas konden we er niet eten 's avonds. Maar ze hadden een goede tip gegeven, waar we wel konden eten. Omdat we 's morgens vroeg weg moesten, hebben ze voor ons een prima continental onbijt gemaakt. Alleen jammer dat we een badkamer op de gang hadden.'
