'Decent location and very clean but it’s above a bar that has live music every night, so quite loud. The unit seems to be above the kitchen, and it smells like grease fryer. Nothing to make coffee with.'

'The room is very beautifully designed and is in a nice location. There is everything you need, it is comfortable and clean. There are a lot of stairs to get to the top floor and that was an issue for me perhaps something to be more precise about in the listing. I was not aware when I booked that I had to pay an additional deposit of £250 on top of having paid the full price in advance. The money left my account before I had access to the room and I’m not sure how long it will take for me to get...

'This property is adjacent to a building site that operates from Mon-Fri. The drilling starts at 8AM and ends at 4PM, but from 6AM they start throwing stuff around so prepare for an early start every morning. We booked a Boulevard Apartment for a little extra space, but this turned out to be a big mistake. The Boulevard Apartments are directly next to the building works, and therefore experience the most amount of noise. The drilling was so loud that we had to raise our voices to hear each...

'All good in the end, but the checkin instructions were not particularly clear - quite confusing in fact. We entered the complex and then had no idea how to find our unit. Thankfully someone could give us a bit of guidance (they were not particularly familiar) when we called for support and we eventually found our unit. Very nicely appointed and we had a great stay - a few added sentences to orienting folks for checkin could solve our issue!'

'It is a tradition in our family to start a visit to Scotland in Court Residence. We have always liked it a lot, but this time we were disappointed. I booked through hotels.com and ordered (and paid for) their best room (The duplex). Unfortunately we did not get it. Then the breakfast, which is as usual some products on a breakfast basket and fridge in the room. Best before date of the bread was few days in the past. The milk in the fridge was a leftover from previous people.... So breakfast...
