'The farmhouse is in idyllic location, facing the Moray Firth and surrounded by woodland. The cottage is called Dolphin views and within 2 hours of being here up popped a pod in the estuary! Th cottage has a spread out set up, with bedroom both sides of the dining/kitchen area. The spiral staircase to the mezzanine floor was very tight and a bit rickety, but the boys loved it! The farmhouse is very rural and the approach road is a steep dirt track, so be warned if you have a low to the ground...

'The house is really big and spacious. The large round table in the diningroom is very nice. The kitchen is well equiped. We liked the fireplace. The house is near the A9, but you don't hear any traffic. It has a good location if you want yo visit Inverness, Urquhart Castle, Loch Ness, Fort Augustus, Fort William, climb the Ben Nevis, take the (Harry Potter!) train to Mallaig, feed alpacas or taste whiskey at Dalwhinnie. The house needs some tlc; fix some broken tiles and give it some paint....

'Un logement hors du commun que je recommande. Le cottage à l'entrée du site est grand, confortable, bien équipé mais poussiéreux. Localisation stratégique pour les visite de châteaux alentours (Glamis, Dunnottar, Blair, Braemar) Le soir, à pied, la découverte de la faune forestière est fantastique : chouettes effraies, biches, écureuil, vaches, cochons et chevaux sauvages, et bien sûr : les castors ! Plus la nuit tombe, plus ils apparaissent. Pas farouches, on les voit vaquer à leurs...

'Wat een geweldig vakantiehuis! Alles is aanwezig voor een geslaagde vakantie. Een grote keuken met veel apparatuur en kookgerei, comfortabele bedden, heerlijke banken, ruimte, een speelkamer... Ook het uitzicht is prachtig. Het huis staat op een boerenbedrijf, zodat de koeien en kalfjes langs je ramen lopen, maar toch heb je rust, ruimte en privacy. Er zijn veel bezienswaardigheden van Schotland op relatief korte afstand. Ook de stad Stirling is dichtbij, zodat je gemakkelijk je inkopen kunt...

'The stay overall was great, however, ad shows 4 king size beds which was ideal for us as 4 couples. On arrival discovered 2 rooms are now set up as twins do advert out of date.Property well set up with great facilities and contents. Property was over warm on arrival and took.hours to cool to reasonable temperature. '

There was 7 of us staying plus the dog and there was more than enough space for us all. Some beautiful walks around the house. We loved it that much we are booking for next year.'
