'Het is een prachtig kasteel,passend smaakvol ingericht en we hadden een luxe kamer, maar een vreselijk slecht matras waar je de spiralen duidelijk voelde. Het ontbijt was erg duur in vergelijking met wat je kreeg. Als ze zouden investeren in goede matrassen zou het hotel van mij een dikke negen krijgen'

'Absolutely loved this quirky castle. The owners was so friendly and welcoming. Very knowledgeable about the castles history and did a personal tour which I loved. His love for the property showed so much in this tour. Breakfast was delicious and left nothing to ask for. Would stay here again. No complaints. '

'Beautiful place. Loved how old and well maintained it was. Rooms were very spacious and decorated well. They were not serving dinner that night but recommended the train station close by and it was excellent. However, we did eat breakfast there the next morning and it was very good! I would love a longer stay here as we only were able to stay one night.'

'Beautiful location--pictures do not do it justice. Plenty of room for our family of 5 adults. Be prepared for the stairs, but it is so worth it! Peaceful, beautiful surroundings. First class interior. Cant recommend it enough!'

'The stay in Barns Tower was amazing. It is an unique, true tower building. The place was very clean, supplied well, and well kept. We also completed the Neidpath Castle tour with Lulu, and it was a must see tour. We were very happy with our stay there. Vic and Jen, Kansas, USA'

'The 7 of us stayed here to be in between Aberdeen and Inverness and it worked perfectly. The property is amazing…don’t miss the rope swing for the kids. The trails were great to hike and run.'
