'Location is private, and its feels like you're a thousand miles from anywhere but town is 5 minutes away. Precut and organized fire wood made making a campfire a breeze. Hosts seemed to want to make sure you have everything you may need. Amazing place!'

'Just returned from a wonderful weekend at Heidi and Gary's cabin. We were driving in during a big snowfall & ultimately had to delay our arrival, but Heidi and Gary had everything prepped for us & were so communicative and accommodating. The cabin itself is very cozy and warm in the winter months, with a perfectly stocked kitchen. Heidi and Gary have sprinkled lovely personal touches throughout the cabin which make the trip a extra delight. Thanks again!'

'We booked this property for our family of four plus two dogs. Our stay was three overnights, which started on a Saturday. 'It is a cute, clean house, close to where I was working. I have a problem with Evolve assessing an insurance damage fee as line-item cost on the bill. 'We had a great time! The house was lovely! We’d have loved some more storage (there weren’t any hangers or shelves/dressers. We also would have loved a pantry space to put our food for the week. 'Our family really enjoyed our stay at the Francis House! The house housed 8 comfortably with plenty of interesting rooms for the kids (and adults) to explore, a great yard, and stocked firepit. The location couldn't have been better, minutes from downtown Ontonagon, right down the street from groceries/gas, and smack dab in the middle of all the hiking, beaches, and waterfalls you could ask for.'

'Stayed 3 nights and enjoyed hiking the Porkies, drove to Houghton for a day trip (very cool town), and looked for yooperlites at the beach (1/2 mile down the road). The cabin was clean and a welcoming place to come back to at the end of each day and Deb was a great host and very responsive and made great suggestions for activities in the area. Highly recommended!'
