"Vriendelijke ontvangst. Goede kamer met lekkere bedden. We vonden het doorspoelen van het toilet wat lastig gaan. Verder hebben we geen airco ontdekt, maar was in ons geval ook niet nodig. Op warme dagen is het wellicht wel handig om te hebben. Prima genoten van onze 2 nachten in dit hotel. Ontbijt was voortreffelijk! Je neemt voor de deur de bus naar het centrum. Ideaal! Hotel om nog eens terug te komen!"

"Het huis ligt in een rustige straat, parkeren lukte goed in de nabije omgeving. Het is vlakbij het strand, waar wat eet en drinktentjes zijn. Ook vlakbij de High Street met winkels, supermarkten, restaurants en de bushalte. Prima verbinding naar Edinburgh (30-40 min). Het huis is geweldig met een grote keuken voorzien van alles dat je nodig hebt, een gezellige zitkamer en 4 ruime slaapkamers en 2 badkamers. Er is ook een tuin met een lounge set en middag zon.Kortom top locatie en top huis!"

"We have stayed in the family room with two children. They had two beds next to the 2 person bed. It was clean and basic but good. There is a good bus connection to the center or you can walk to it through the park. The staff was really nice and the food is good. "

"We were blinded by the photos on the Internet. The reality is completely different. For example, the rooms are small and don't even have a wardrobe. The breakfast room was completely different. Sparse, unloved. It had the charm of a storage room. See photos. We had a room on the street. The noise was very loud due to the busy street and the poorly insulated and old windows. There is no air conditioning... The accommodation seems like a detention center for travelers. You're completely on your own; you won't see anyone from the facility. If anything happens, you have a phone number. You had to take care of your own breakfast. There was instant coffee and tea, and ready-made porridge that you could make yourself. Even at an additional cost, no real breakfast was available The rooms are not made up. Upon request, a towel change was possible, but not on Weekends. On Monday the towels were changed. But our overflowing wastebasket was then simply ignored. "

"On average very good! The rooms are a bit on the older side but cozy nonetheless, the only thing that really needs to go is the carpet and the bed could do with some new matresses. Housekeeping could come by a little more often to check for toilet paper etc. The breakfast is really good! And the staff was absolutely lovely! There was a wedding as we were staying there but we didn't have any problems with the noise. Granted, if you are a light sleeper this maybe isn't the hotel for you but it really wasn't that bad as some make it out to be. The life music in the pub eas actually very nice. The location of the Hotel is perfect! The bus stopped right infront of the Hotel and almost every bus went to Edinburgh centre within 20min, also late at night. The small harbour is just a 5min walk from the hotel and down the street there is another nice pub as well. We very much enjoyed our stay. "
