'⭐ 1/5 Very disappointing stay. The resort is old, dirty, and extremely rundown. We had a cockroach and a lizard in our room, and the bathroom was tiny, outdated, and dirty. The staff seemed like they didn’t care, and the front desk was rude and unhelpful. The only good thing about this place is the beautiful beach and water. Unfortunately, that’s not enough for me to recommend staying here. I would not return.'

'Don’t be fooled by the classification “Suite”. They’re just standard hotel rooms. So no separate bedroom. Staff varies dramatically from friendly, via uninterested to just rude (especially in body language). Items missing or exchanged without notification from ordered food. And several items on the menu are not available. '

'Though not the most luxurious place I have ever stayed in, this vacation definitely owns a place in my personal top 3. Staff is friendly, and given the scale of the hotel the overall experience very intimate and personal. Rooms all have magnificent views, outdoor showers and overall comfort is good. Our room did have a ceiling fan that wasn't quite up to the task but all-in-all this did not affect the wonderful week we spent at Cocos. Food is excellent, give our greetings to Acarie.'

'For beginning the resort is situated in an incredibly beautiful location; the view from every angle is unique. We aren't typically the type of people who spend our time by the pool, but this time we set ourselves up at the pool near the beach. I must mention that the staff there were fantastic—they served delicious paninis, and there were always clean beach towels available; we really liked the towel exchange system. We spoke with all the staff members, and they were very polite and courteous....
