'The buildings and the rooms in this well maintained resort are the main attraction, the nature and the views are the strongest point. There are several restaurants on the site, however they were cloased most of the time, so the general buffet restaurant was the only option for dinner; and unfortunately is looks rather cheap and the food is rather average (and the house wine is undrinkable). The breakfast restaurant is much nice and has better food. For lunch yo better head to the beach...

We loved the different pools, restaurants, great drinks, and excellent food. Starting even before the trip started - our family "Buttler" contacted us way in advance, asked for some info and by the we arrived we were greeted with a totally customized welcome package. 'Everything was wonderful during our stay. We were able to take our two dogs with us. Our room was on the second level and it had its own outdoor space. There was a third level we up to view the scenery around the hotel. We went swimming in the pool and sat in the sun in the loungers. The staff was very accommodating and invited us to a Christmas brunch along with the other guests. We will definitely be returning soon.'

'10/10 — Incredible beachfront boutique hotel Maramara Playa was the highlight of our trip to Sayulita. The hotel is literally right on the sand, and our room had floor-to-ceiling windows plus a big private balcony overlooking the beach and sunset - absolutely beautiful. The design is new, modern, and very comfortable. Staff communication was excellent, and their custom town guide was super helpful.
