'The wifi is only in the common areas and not in any of the rooms, which is inconvenient, but not a deal breaker. Here’s the thing, I was not impressed by the front door but after you go into the actual courtyard, it’s much nicer than you’d think. The rooms are big and are in decent condition for the age and area. It is very convenient to walk down to the beach and excursions, and not be super high priced because it’s not right on the beach. '

'Loved the pools. They were always clean and heated. Lots of chair options both around the pools and on the beach. Sun or shade, whatever you wanted. The staff was helpful and friendly. I stayed in a suite with a kitchen. Basic appointment but enough to make meals. Bed was comfortable and there was plenty of closet space to unpack. Gorgeous view from my balcony to the Bay. Good proximity of the hotel to the Golden Zone. Very walkable. Room had a fan and air conditioning for the really hot...

'What a lovely stay we had at Sayulinda. The staff are friendly, helpful, accommodating and have a great smiles. The rooftop pool is a little slice of heaven with inviting cabanas, yummy margaritas and ocean views. Being centrally located made it easy to walk everywhere and being close the beautiful beach. 'Resort is a bit rundown. The floor of our room was very dirty, we had to wash a large sticky area ourselves. We paid for an ocean view upgrade but barely had a view, and our room was above the kitchen so we always had the greasy cooking smell'

Restaurant food was below average, drinks and were food expensive.Only 2 small bottles of water were provided per day which was not sufficient given you cannot drink the tap water. Additional water had to be purchased The pool and sunchairs were great, the beach was rocky and water was cloudy. The hotel is very close to the highway so a lot of road noise day and night. You need a car at this hotel as there is nothing within walking...

'Our deck over looked the ocean. It was a highlight watching sunsets and hearing the waves through the night with just the screen door closed. Staff were friendly and enjoyed breakfast each morning. The hotel was vlose to all ammenities and central for walking to neighboring towns. The room was clean and the house keepers were lovely. The hotel is a little dated. But functional. '

'All rooms face the Ocean, view is obscured by other buildings and the Palm Trees. Only complaint I have, the Bar across the Street on the Beach was blaring Hip Hop Music until 1:00 AM. Had to fall asleep with the room thumping from the Bass. '
