Great views and fully outfitted kitchen. Fit our needs for a laid back and restful vacation. Enjoyed the sunset cruise and taxi service arranged by the property. We will return. Villa has steps to bathroom which could be a problem for some. A week without TV was heaven.

Miranda who was the boss was very nice, the location is lovely. It could do with a few upgrades, Wi-Fi, tv, radio? Room interiors etc. Inexpensive. Local people are friendly. Local Restaurant’s although amazingly located could do with a massive overhaul as far as food goes but I found that all over the island. All in all, very nice.

Apartments are placed on the side of a very tall hill, with a mechanical tramway to save your knees. The view of Marigot Bay from up there is spectacular! The staff is friendly, professional, considerate and welcoming. I felt like I was home among family and friends!

I enjoyed the view from our two large decks tremendously. The beach and easy access to kayaks and stand up paddle boards was excellent. There is a steep but very pretty hiking trail at the top of the property. The staff are all very friendly. Guests should be prepared to walk uphill to get to some of the villas but it is well worth it.

Thank you Alexis for your excellent review. The villa has its own beautiful view overlooking the bay and marina. Its impeccable location assures your privacy, quietness, and convenience when it comes to going to the beach, getting groceries, doing activities, or just exploring. There is no road access to this side of the bay – only ferry – so it’s very quiet and serene (2 min crossing). Weekly ferry pass available for purchase for $20 per person. There are steps to get to our property however there is a tram that goes up and down the hill to avoid many steps. As you mentioned it's well worth it for the view it has : )

Oasis Marigot Hotel and Villa came exactly as advertised and was everything we could have hoped for for our first trip with our 9-month old daughter! My best advice would be to take the time to read comments before booking to make sure you know what you are getting. Marigot Bay is mostly quiet - save for the ships that come in and out of the Bay. The Villas are on the other side of the Bay so you will need to take a ferry to get across. The cost is $2 US per ride or $20 US for the week. The Villas are equipped with a full kitchen but the local supermarket is quite expensive and does not have many fresh items. The Massy Supermarket in Cul-de-Sac (about 10-15 min by car) is well stocked and is reasonably priced. We were in Oasis 4 and it had the most amazing view of the bay and sunset. It was absolutely stunning. The Villas have AC in the bedroom - but nowhere else (which wasn’t so bad in January cause the nights get nice and cool - about 22-24C). Our daughter loved the pool which is shared but mostly quiet. Highly recommend getting a rental to get to and fro on the island. There are many wonderful spots to explore and discover. We particularly liked the Tet Paul Trail and the Errard (Sault) Falls.

As you mentioned our property is accessible by ferry since there is no road access on that side of the bay. The public ferry offers weekly ferry passes of $20/pp or $2 round trip. quaint and quiet.
Boat only free for arrival and departure to villas, otherwise you pay and nowhere to order boat from, it’s just ‘there or not there’. Not ideal tbh. Villa well supplied with kitchen necessities. Bit more light required from funicular (which is a great and novel way to get to villas), to guest services. Especially in rainy season, as wet (obviously). We got out and about to see island but area good for restaurants, games available in restaurant at bottom of hill, and good food too. Spa massage was good. Book exchange at guest services and restaurant.

The Vacation Club is a community of 12 private villas nestled among the tropical palms and gardens of the northern hillside of Marigot Bay. We do mention on our listing that our property is only accessible by public ferry. The ferry runs every 10 min and it's a 2 min crossing. Weekly ferry passes are available for purchase for $20 USD per person. It's an ideal location to relax and enjoy the beautiful view from your balcony. Thanks for your review.

As we have informed you before your arrival, the tram going up and down the hill is temporary out of order and is actually undergoing repairs. It will be back in operation sometime in June 2019 but as you have seen, it's definitely worth walking those steps as you get incredible views of the bay from your own private balcony. It was a great place, views were amazing, the villa was perfect for our family of 4, the only issue was getting harassed by mosquitoes at night. The hotel did provide netting, unfortunately the kids didn’t properly close their netting at night and got several mosquito bites on our first night.

Thanks for your feedback. As you know, when guests do not wish to climb the steps going uphill, they can use a lift-track (an outside elevator). This elevator was under repair for your stay and we called you few days before to offer you a full refund as you were traveling with children. We were disappointed that on arrival, you complained to our Guests Services that no one informed you about it. The next day, you then commented about the slow WI-FI, insects, plumbing, etc. Again, after your first night and based on your comments, we offered you a full refund or change room but you declined our offers. We gladly responded to all your queries explaining that the Internet was suitable for light browsing and checking emails, but not suitable for Netflix or Amazon Prime. We are located in the Caribbean and as much as we are treating for tropical insects regularly, it is possible to see a an intruder coming into your unit . We are sorry that we did not meet your expectations but we appreciate that you found our staff to be very friendly and our houses to provide exceptional views.

This property was very nice and well appointed. The taxi driver they had pick us up was lovely as was the person that helped us get our bags to our room. We had a wonderful time here.

Enjoy yourself at Marigot Bay
We enjoyed the villa and pool. We didn't like the beach so much because it is in the harbour. You need to be right on the ocean to get a great beach. The people who worked there were very nice. We had 2 days of constant rain while there. The other days were great.

Trevor was excelent ,absoltely an asset to the company ,the lady in the office was realy helpful We only stayed one night ,didnt realize you have to pay the ferry every trip,you could use a vending machine for bottle waters ,soft drinks and snacks, which would help some of the back and fouth.or on arival you could have a few waters in the room,an iron and an iron board should be in every room ,we only realize about 5pm when we were preparing for our trip to Groislet that none was available and you needed to get one from the office which closes at 5, so as women we were very anoid not to have one other than that an awesome view very relaxin totaly would definitely recomend this property especially for a hideaway ,will definitely go again.

Oasis was a nice gem in a secluded area of St. Lucia. For the same price as a hotel room, we got a private villa with gorgeous views! Office staff were very helpful with booking excursions, taxis, and providing any info we needed. Everything is beautiful!
Beautiful resort, the villa, the gardens, the beach, the view and the people. Me and my husband stayed here and we had a great time. There's lots of things to do, we enjoyed the kayaking and the day sail to the Soufriere. We stayed 4 nights here cuz we had to go to my cousin's place who lives in Rodney Bay. I told my friends that they have to come with us next time and we'll rent the bigger villa.We will come back here again.

My major issue with my stay is that it is only accessible by a boat (with Oasis Marigot written on the side). You have to pay USD20 per guest for a 1 week pass to use this boat. Basically for each guest in your party add USD20 as an expense. This was not communicated to me before I booked which is not transparent.

Villa with a view of Marigot Bay
You have to preadvise your arrival time so a porter can meet you across the bay. He loads your luggage and you on a boat and you cross the bay. Then you go up a hill and then onto a lift up the hill and then across to your villa. There are 12 villas at the top of the hill. Bedroom is on the bottom with air-conditioning (at an extra charge) with a balcony with partial views. Next level up is bathroom. Next level up is livingroom with full kitchen with a full balcony with great views of the bay. My villa also had a view of the pool. The views are incredible since you are on the top of the hill. It is quiet since there are only 12 villas on the top. The pool is very pleasant. You can also access billy goat trail. Which is an one & a half hour round-trip hike up for a view of the bay from ever further up and then back down. The staff is wonderful from porter, reception and housekeeping. To go to bay/beach and restaurants, you need to take lift back down and some stairs down. Doolittle's is right there which is fine for a cocktail or snack. For dinner around the bend is Rainforest Hideway which is wonderful with a view across the bay. If you taxi a water taxi across the bay, on the 2nd floor is Masala Bay which is lovely Indian restaurant. I thoroughly enjoyed, just wish I had more time

Compose de belles petites villas, l'hotel est bien situe dans la baie de marigot bay mais accessible uniquement par la mer (navette payante sauf pour l'entree et la sortie). L'acceuil est tres agreable. Le personnel est attentif et efficace. Cependant, le confort attendu est moyen et tous services complementaire est payant. Le WIFI ne fonctionne pas correctement (signal tres faible), dans notre villa et le ventilateur plafonnier du salon est inefficace. Un supplement de 132 USD est a prevoirsi on veut rester bien au frais (ceci n'etait pas precise sur le site). Comparativement aux hotels situes au nord de l'ile, j'ai quelque peu regrette mon choix (isolement, manque d'activites,2 restaurants).

Nice, quiet stay
We stayed at Oasis for 3 nights. I was initially a bit confused about the check-in process and that I'd have to take their water taxi, but we managed with the help of a taxi driver (he had to make a few phone calls though to understand where to drop us off). The villas/cottages are located on a beautiful hillside on Marigot Bay and will offer nice sunset views. Since Marigot Bay is frequented by boats and yachts, the restaurants around the area are overpriced. There is a small, cozy beach with nice chairs that you can use. Overall our stay was pleasant.

Stayed in self catering apartment no.5 Feb 2015, what a great place. Comfortable split level apartment so if you are mobility impaired perhaps not the right place to stay, even given there is a tram to take you up and down to the apartment. The view over the bay was outstanding, everyone extremely helpful. Supplies can be brought across the bay at the supermarket (buy a weekly pass for the very short bay crossing). Recommended whole heartedly.

Très bon accueil, villa en très bon état, très charmante dans le style créole décorée simplement mais avec beaucoup de goût. cuisine parfaitement équipée pour les repas à la maison. Le personnel de l'accueil est charmant et toujours disponible pour renseigner sur les activités de l'île et pour aider les clients. Nous avions perdu les flotteurs de notre fils et n'en avons pas retrouvé dans les boutiques aux alentours, le gérant d'oasis Marigot a réussi à nous en trouver et nous en a prêté pour tout le séjour. Bref excellent séjour, vue magnifique, très bon séjour à st-Lucie

Beautiful Relaxation
In the face of some tough problems (lost baggage, sick child) this place was a bright spot on our vacation. The staff were very helpful with the problems we had (not related to the hotel) and the area is beautiful, with lovely bird and insect sounds at night. The tram to get up the hill was fun for our 2 year old daughter, and there is great food and a small beach at the bottom of the hill.
