'Best hotel in Hexham. Hexham is a great base to explore Hadrians wall and the surroundings and the Beaumont is definitely the best place to stay, spacious rooms, excellent food in the restaurant, great bar, very popular locally so good buzz in the evenings and very attentive staff. '

'Medi, the chef, and his wife, Daniella, run the Inn and gave us both a warm, friendly welcome. The room was tidy and clean and we both had good night's sleeps even though the room was above the pub..I recommend Medi's Eggs Benedict which was fantastic and he also catered in the evening with great home made food - I had the best fish and chips I've had for many a year..I'd recommend the Sunday roast too which was awesome and over generous...and reasonably priced...

Brilliant having free parking on site and everything was contactless. Side door to get to the room and back out.. hassle free. '

On arrival just before the 3 pm check-in time the place was shut, doors locked and curtains drawn. 'Definitely worth a visit. We only stayed for one night but we will be back. Staff all unbelievably good. Food exceptional. Very quiet. Really good nights sleep. Highly recommend this hotel. We also did the free history tour of the castle. Do not miss this as it includes a visit to the roof to take in the views.'

The manager was great, met us at the door and showed us straight to our room. The room was large with a four poster bed. The bed was really comfortable. All the staff were friendly and very good with the children. They were made to feel very welcome by all the staff. We enjoyed a meal in the evening. Good choice for adults and children.
