'We found Broccoli Bottom to be absolutely charming. Peaceful, charming, great location, clean, plenty amenities, etc. Everything you would expect and then some. We stayed in Fennel Folly which had a lovely balcony to watch the sun set and watch the new born lambs play.Will likely go back . '

'Great bungalow to stay in. Local pub (horse and jockey) just a 10 minute walk away, lovely meal in there. We stayed in carrot cottage, which had everything we needed. Only couple of things: 1. TV a bit small and couple of steps to bedroom could be a problem for a disabled person. My mam managed them, but worried she might fall over then at night. So left the light on over night. Overall great place to stay.'

'No welcome ' pack ' not even a bottle of milk. Light fittings missing. Main bed the worst ever experienced. The central heating did not work, we sat in overcoats and blankets. Heating set at 16deg. in the middle of winter !Hostess indifferent , realised her responsibility, refused to speak to us and told the agency to ask us to leave due to heating problems and her concern with her insurance Gave full refund but our stay to be near our family was ruined due to lack of maintenance. A disgrace to...

'A really nice property. Great location, parking outside, loads of extras to make our stay confortable - exceptional. Lovely sized rooms, loads of space, very well equipped. Really enjoyed our stay and the whole group would like to return sometime.'

'The cottage was very quirky and filled with nick nacks and excess furniture. It looked like the owners still lived there. The spare bedroom ceiling had just been replastered and was still drying !! We had trouble with one of the toilets but this was dealt with very quickly and I have no complaints about the property manager. None of the electrical equipment was PAT tested.'
