'Park your car and walk to all the wonderful sites that town has to offer. My fiancé loved watching the trains come and go, and they did not wake us through the night. The outlets in the living room didn't work, but that wasn't a big enough deal to remove a star. The rocking chairs on the porch were so comfortable, and it was great to have a free reserved parking spot since it costs 20 and is difficult to get a public spot later in the day to tour. 'Everything was wonderful. The property was beautiful. There were other people staying at the homes on site, but none of it was a distraction. Close enough to town to do excursions. The only thing I would add is maybe a screen door so that you could allow some extra fresh air in and light. Hosts were wonderful and easy to contact when we needed something. Recommend for a cozy gate away.'

'this location was absolutely perfect for my son and I trip to Harper ferry. We knew we wanted to be right in lower town near the old buildings and the river and it didn’t disappoint. Well lower town doesn’t offer a wide variety of restaurants that stay open super late. The ones that do are more than adequate. I highly recommend stopping by the rabbit hole and battleground coffee. The only thing I will say about this VRBO is that if you were over 6 feet tall, you may feel a little claustrophobic...

'This was supposed to have been an anniversary stay. It was not cozy, clean or anything I expected. While the manager was easy to contact. He refused to see the problems with the property. He acknowledged knowing some of the issued and said they could have had maintenance take care of them had I elected to stay. I felt as if that should have been addressed before my stay. I tried to get a partial refund. They refused. We stayed no nights!! When I advised I was going to leave a negative review....
