'Most charming lodge I’ve ever been at. A perfect stop to make between the Pacific coast and the Carribean one, or between San Jose and Limon/Puerto Viejo. The view is out of this world beautiful, the location is completely off-the-grid, the team is just wonderful, the breakfast is so so good, and fresh. The chicken empanadas is the best one I ever had. The garden has so many types of flowers/trees, etc. Our dog got to run freely and enjoy the beautiful grounds. I have nothing bad to say about...

'Fantastische ervaring!! De lodge ligt super afgelegen dus je kan er niet op eigen houtje naartoe, keuze is raften of opgehaald worden. Omdat wij later in de middag aankwamen zijn we opgehaald en dat had Johanna allemaal top geregeld, de weg ernaartoe was enorm slecht maar juist een vette ervaring bij iemand in de auto die de weg op zijn duimpje kent. De lodge zelf is prachtig! Allemaal kleine hutjes die uitkijken over de rivier. Het is super basic en ik heb het wel koud gehad snachts dus zorg...

'Unfortunately I was unable to enjoy a stay at the Casa Grande. There is no road to the place, i.e. they have to pick you up by boat. I sent an e-mail, left two WhatsApp messages and tried calling 4 times, all to no avail. Even 2 days later I have not heard from them. I ended up in Parismina without any recourse to get to the place, and so I had to find a different accommodation there. Very unfortunate. If you can book this place in the morning for the evening, the resort must respond, otherwise...
