'Great location, walk to coffee and restaurants, huge room, clean and comfortable, great view of Shasta from the courtyard'

'I booked this bed and breakfast the night before the check in date. I arrived at 930pm to find I should have received an access code via email in order to access the property and check in to my room. I did not receive an email with the access code and there was no staff on site. So, at 10pm I had to find other accommodations. I messaged the staff thru the Expedia app and left a voicemail. I’ve still not received a reply or a refund notice for the room night.'

'Loved our stay, the room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The location was central to Shasta/Burney and gave the feel of old world charm. The only reason to give 4 star was that it would be great if there were light filtering drapes, the blind was letting too much light in making it hard to sleep after 6am, that's how I like 'dark' but rest of the stay was lovely.'

'Pretty nice older place where you can park right outside your room. The location is quiet, but not within walking distance of food or anything of interest. The most notable feature in the room was the huge king bed, but it was strangely lacking in pillows.'

'Overall great stay! Only complaint is the window coverings, they give you privacy but do not block the sunlight at all. If you want to sleep past 8 am you should bring a sleep mask otherwise the room will be filled with light. A small investment in black out drapes would make a world of difference.'

'Great location right off the highway. Nice coffee shop nearby, burger joint, and unique shops up a ways from hotel. Railroad track nearby so heads up on some noise!'

'We had paid for an adjoining bedroom, but it had not been cleaned. There were some indications, such as dust on the windowsill and a plastic bottle cap under the dresser, that they don’t pay a lot of attention to cleaning. The hotel is very close to the interstate, and if it weren’t for the noisy window air conditioner, the sound of traffic would’ve been too much. The person on duty did takeoff a little from the room charge when we refused to pay for the adjoining bedroom, and the linens were...
